I've also posted that comment about adding a "like" in other areas of the forums (i.e. Porch and AET). It doesn't apply only to AMT. I seldom venture into AMT. Adding such a function wouldn't be limited only to "likes" either. Maybe angry, confused, laughs and some other reactions. 

Point is, I think adding such a function would clean up a lot of slop that we read/search/scroll through on these forums. I read his comment and I liked it. I wanted to let him know I liked it. I did not need to elaborate further on his comment. But, these forums being as they are, to do so, I had to add a post. It would be a cleaner look for all of us if I simply could have a reaction button and clicked 👍 or 🤣. My reaction to his post was not intended to trigger anyone by suggesting a potential improvement to an antiquated message board system.

I don't recall the original post. Was it a response to the Juggler? If so, he is referred to by many of us here as "Juggs". And that would lead to me to 2 possibilities.

A. It was a typo as the I and U key are next to each other.
2. It was a mocking of the "Juggs" nickname.

Considering the source, I'd venture it was option 2. Whether it was intended with racism or not I can't say. 
And if the response was not directed at Juggs, then wipe out my whole post. As I said, don't recall (or know that I saw) the original post.

I perceived overtly racist intent and reported it after several days waiting for a reponse to the question posed in my reply.

I can't recall hearing that shortened version of the word, and in the context it didn't spark any sort of connection to me. 
When I read it I just assumed it was some pop culture reference I was not aware of.

It's not the kind of word that easily or commonly gets mistaken for something else (like, for example, except and accept).

I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I had no idea that was a word and an offensive one at that. 

It might be a little before your time...I'm 57 and used to hear "jiggaboo" a lot when I was young. I grew up in deep red Ohio where we had like three black kids in our school.

Honestly I didnt mind the ban. It made me confront the reason for being a member here, and since Father Time tells me no more GA, and I’d rather pay a little extra for seated tickets knowing the seat location at time of purchase, it made my decision to cancel easier. But I will miss this forum because I learned about a lot  of basic problems democrats have with moderate voters, that could be an extensive post lol. I see similar thought processes here as other liberal outlets such as msnow.

What I did mind is I wasn’t given an opportunity to clarify. Punishment was rendered which is fine, pun intended,  but my ability to communicate with members here and “the authority” was completely taken away. I dont need to contribute to an org like that, even if it’s only $35.

And I brought it back up only from a humor perspective. I found it very ironic that there was that image posted yesterday calling me bad names for being a complainer in context of the above.  I’m fairly certain the flag feature was used against me, the evidence I would post is circumstantial but there is a decent amount of it. I could never prove who, fairly certain who it was and it wasn’t you lol. Again, I found it funny, lol.

Regarding your third paragraph, come on, they don’t have an appeals division of ten club forums to form a subcommittee and review your case. They have emails you could have sent. There’s like 10 people. 2 of which moderate thousands of comments. 

It’s no big deal/you found it funny but you collected evidence to back your case? And it’s not the reason you’re leaving, but it is?

And I did say it was circumstantial evidence, which should draw an unbiased reader into a completely different conclusion than you did here, but we know what this place is about.

International law was not born out of theories or well-meaning ambitions, but out of the ruins of human catastrophes. After two world wars, the Holocaust, and unimaginable suffering, the world realized that power without rules leads to barbarism. That is why the UN Charter, the Geneva Conventions, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, and the international legal order were created—an order that to this day forms the foundation of peace and security.

At its core, international law is simple: states are equal, borders must be respected, force may only be used in self-defense, and people must be protected, even in war. It is an attempt to make the world less brutal, more predictable, and more humane. For countries like Sweden, this is not an abstract idea. It is a lifeline. We have never been protected by brute force, but by cooperation, legal rules, and trust between states. When international law is respected, even small countries can safeguard their independence and their democracy.

But today we see this order beginning to crack. Great powers increasingly act as if the world were divided into spheres of influence, where the will of the strong takes precedence over shared rules. Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine is the clearest example, but not the only one. The United States’ intervention in Venezuela, the brazen claims to Greenland, and China’s demands regarding Taiwan show how quickly the principle of territorial integrity can be eroded when power politics take over. When states place their own interests above the rules they themselves helped create, the world risks sliding toward something resembling the law of the jungle. This is a dangerous development for the entire international system. In a world where rules are replaced by power, it is always small, open democracies that have the most to lose.

Standing up for international law is therefore not naïve. It is necessary. For peace. For justice. And for Sweden’s future.

We should remember the words of former Prime Minister Olof Palme: “Respect for international law is our first line of defense.”

Unfortunately, I'd say it's a coin flip on whether I'd be safer in Venezuela or the Twin Cities right now. Seems that both have paramilitary thugs roaming the streets looking for Americans.
