    I have an open question based on this for our experts. The last couple runs thru msg IIRC they changed lottery rules by taking away priority because it was too difficult a concept for fans to understand, as if that isn’t an insult to fans

    and iirc, the new lottery system the full details were never disclosed, another slap to fans. But based on members posting results where they’d win msg and a number of other shows, while many fans were completely shut out, they were running one draw, and for those that had a good draw, had all their wishes filled. One chance and one chance only. Bad draw = no tickets for everything.

    this seems to bring nyc fans down to a very low chance in the lottery, especially for those like me who Father Time is saying in an unmistakable manner my GA days are over. If a typical ticket option outside of msg includes a hotel and transport cost anyway, seems to just let membership expire and go for an expensive platinum ticket or stub hub anyway for MSG based simply on how the ticket rules are now apparently administered. If they did release how they do the draw now I apologize.
