    Just saw the news. Gotta say KISS really helped shape my youth. As a kid I collected the trading card and had their figurines, lol, Back Then it was more about the image than the music. But as I aged I realized there was more than the makeup pulling people in. Can’t say I went full KISS army but definitely had enough exposure to feel…experienced…
    Happy to have seen Ace join PJ at MSG in ‘08.

    Being a kid in the 70's, one of my first guitar heroes growing up. Sorry to hear of his passing.

    Sucks. Kiss Alive 1 was the first record I ever bought as a kid. They blew my mind and forever affected my views about music. I will watch Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park tonight and cherish every goofy laugh from Ace.

    Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready also mourned the loss of Frehley after news of his death. “All my friends have spent untold hours talking about KISS and buying KISS stuff. Ace was a hero of mine and also I would consider a friend. I studied his solos endlessly over the years,” said McCready. “I would not have picked up a guitar without Ace and KISS’s influence. RIP it out Ace, you changed my life. Thank you.”
