It is simply sad. RIP Ozzy. Thanks for the many great shows. If you were lucky enough to see the Blizzard of Ozz or the Diary of a Madman tours, then you saw greatness.

Was awesome in early 90s.  Did move around all like am oldster but he rocked and jumped up and down like a frog a lot.
    Ozzy fucking ruled.

I saw Ozzy twice.  First time was with Sabbath in 1999 at Ozzfest in Vancouver.  He could barely stand to sing into the mic, but he commanded prescent.  The crowed was absolutely apeshit, and the energy was off the charts.

I saw him solo in 2010 in Edmonton and he was still bringing it. I thought he was a little more animated then when I saw Sabbath, but maybe that's because he was solo touring.

Glad I got to see both.

Dude had a helluva career, and ending with that amazing event a few weeks ago.  Not a bad way to do it.

When I heard about it on the radio this morning, I couldn't believe it. The farewell concert was only 3 weeks ago and I hoped that he would have a few more quiet years with his family...another rock legend who enriches the rock-heaven. RIP Ozzy

As SiriusXm will do with the passing of an artist, Ozzy's Boneyard is now ALL OZZY/SABBATH for the next few days.....

    R.I.P Ozzy.

Thank you for the music, the art, the imagery and the laughs.

You are a pioneer with the biggest heart. And we are all standing on your shoulders and you held all of us up as your children even those of us that never met you. The industry will not be the same with our you championing the future or alternative music and art.

    Sleep well.

I must be odd this way- I can't listen to anything for awhile by a musician I admire after they die. Ozzy, Bowie, Brian Wilson, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Lou Reed, Waylon Jennings, Miles Davis, on and on, you name it, it's just too much.  It takes a good while before I can listen to their music again.

I understand. Maybe because I was listening to him so much with the celebration of life/Black sabbath. Now I will let him rest. It is sad to lose another lIving layer of the soundtrack of my life.
    For today anyway.

I was very happy to hear someone drive by me cranking crazy train!

Big regret never seeing him. He came here several times both solo and with BS. No idea why I never went. RIP POD.
Saw him 25 years ago. He moved like a 70 year old and was looking very rough.  You didn’t miss anything. One of the only shows I’ve ever seen where I felt ripped off.

Still a legend and still made some of the best Rock and Roll ever. But I suspect that after the 1980s his best shows were probably behind him.

Saw the Sabbath reunion tour in 99 with Pantera and Deftones. Don't recall if Ozzy was not mobile. Didn't care, I knew I was seeing an icon back with his original band. With 2 huge openers.

If I were interested in seeing some good mobility, would went to hockey instead

There will never ever be a show like that again.

Yeah that's about the last time I saw him. Ozzfest '98, '99 and '00. Those were fun/good times.
