2026 concert plans such a dud I only have Laurie Berkner on the docket. Those with kids under about 6 will know….

down the street, only $40 for great seats, and I trust they’ll have the bar open for the early afternoon show.
Hey, at least it isn't Caillou .....
I draw my line at Coco Melon

Chipmunk at the Gas Pump…. Big, big hit at my house. Essentially right behind Given to Fly

And the Cabot in Beverly is the shit

  • Everyone posting made me take a look at the upcoming year...

    Margo Price (03/06)
    Johnny Marr (03/23)
    Jeff Tweedy (03/25)
    Interpol (04/08)
    Gillian Welch/David Rawlings-playing Grateful Dead Reckoning (04/17)
    Black Keys (6/11)
The Cure (07/01) Roskilde Festival-wtf?  Can't believe the timing
    The Black Crowes (08/19)
    Courtney Barnett (08/24)

My nephew is getting married during the Ohana Weekend (come on Ohana Encore)....I had a killer hotel set up, just in case, that I am going to have to drop--and I got a hotel for the following weekend just in case they do the Encore thing.

I look at that list and am pretty excited for the next few months--god knows that I don't want this list being paraded in front of my wife-she does better when I say "hey, I have tix for us to see (fill in the blank) this week".

Just got Glen Hansard Toronto April 3.  500 capacity venue.

Number of miles from my home to see Glen: 1.
    To see Ed:  6500.
Nice I got boston - think capacity 250-300.
Nice. I wish that show wasn't on Easter.

Very quiet year for me in the UK. Wolf Alice just announced a show in Newcastle which will be the only show that I have lined up. 2027 is going to be a big year for gigs I reckon. U2 just announced they will have a new album out before the end of this year so they’ll be on the road next year.

I log in with such hope, then read that this thread should be in ‘other music’ and leave disappointed

I miss the birdie popping up, it led to that increased fluttering of anticipation and excitement.

One day, hopefully, there will be Pearl Jam tour news again lol

(Maybe by then this thread will be as long as the 2010 tour thread or Irish Crew 😂)

I had a feeling he might tag along. Maybe Zack will get back off his couch someday, too.

I used to do about 40 shows a year. But I've had some things going on that've caused me to have to scale back the last 2 years. So far this year, I have 4 DMB shows, a Revivalists show, and a Billy Strings show on tap. And unless PJ, Radiohead, or Manchester Orchestra (which is unlikely, since Tim Very just died) announce a US tour, I'm unlikely to add too many more.

Billy Strings played Crown of Thorns the other night in Nashville!  Is that a staple for him, or just a 1-off?

    +1, haha

His voice was the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I'm now fast approaching being an empty nester...when my kids were younger I loved watching cartoons with them....except whiny Caillou

Not a staple, but he's played it a few times before.

Very cool!  I’ve heard great things about him and his shows.  I need to check him out!

Ok Davey. I think Davey and Goliath might have Cailou beat. I am in the same boat, my 17 year old is a HS senior and off to college in the fall. My kids were all about Yo Gabba Gabba and Angry Birds on the Ipad.
