    Sad, sad news.  Sly was one cool dude.  I love how he broke down barriers and kept us on our feet dancing.. together!  What an amazing soul.

    This is sad news. SLY along with James Brown was supposed to be my first concert back in 74'. It was to a funk festival at Harvard Stadium but a riot broke out and the show was canceled.  I never got another chance to see him live. The Isley Brothers became my first show a few years later.
