I thought we saw the last of that 34 shirt 😁
Haha. It was surprising enough that I posted it during the setlist thread.  I think it was right before Black.

    Views from the rail!
I've always wanted to go to Jazzfest. This was a short and sweet setlist. Red Mosquito was my highlight and made the whole experience extra worth it to me because that is my favorite song. I took live videos on my IG (marieow) if anyone is interested in watching a bit of the show.

Not sure how anyone could complain about a festival set that had LBC, Tremor Christ and red mosquito.
That's is exactly what I was thinking...I thought the set list looked great for a festival show.

Also wanted to reiterate what a great group we had around us. I live in Fairhope AL, had Spanish Fort AL, Gulf Shores, AL and Pensacola, FL in our close group. All took care of each other and had a great time. With festivals you need good friends and they were all good friends, we looked after each other.

I had a great time at this show. This was number 11 for me. Traveled to NOLA for the first time ever for my 30th birthday.  The energy of the band and the crowd was very electric. First time hearing LBC live and I was not expecting that at a festival show. We were very far back and the sound back there with the wind and speakers wasn't the best, but it got better as the set went on. Danny and Steve were highlights for sure. Can't wait to do it again.

For one more time, I want to publicly thank the band for taking me to places! I will be forever grateful for providing the soundtrack to all those once-in-a-lifetime moments  Here's to many more to come :prayer: I still get goosebumps thinking that, thanks to Pearl Jam, I've been to Seattle and more recently to New Orleans :star:

As always, their performance was absolutely amazing
At the beginning of the show, Eddie brought out a beautiful guitar that I've never seen before. For some reason, it reminded me of New Order's Music Complete album cover

Then, we got Tremor Christ > LBC, Red Mosquito w/ Danny Clinch > SOLAT :open_mouth:

And, finally, a RITFW version w/ the apt and powerful change of the classic line to: Keep on fighting for a free world!... :peace: and Mike on bass :rock_on:

So many beautiful memories to cherish: From arriving at the "secret" gate first, around 06:30 am, and never realising how quickly 4 hours passed till the doors opened at 10:30 (half an hour earlier from the scheduled time), due to a funny group of local PJ fans (music and lively chatter), to rockin' out to every single tune with Mike and Tara (a lovely local couple)! Till next time :hang_loose:
