My 19th show and my 16 year old son’s 4th. We brought a friend of his as a first timer…..perfect set for that. Weather was amazing and New Orleans is always a blast. Now I have to take my son and his friend to every future show, he is hooked. Ed was out of breath several times, he left it all out there as did the rest of the band.0

As always, paper doesn’t do justice to the show. The crowd’s energy, the weather, the band’s attitude—spectacular. And seeing your favorite band at 5 in the afternoon was something new.
There was no encore, so it was a surprise when Porch ended and Alive began.
One of the best versions I’ve seen of Rockin’ in the Free World, with Eddie changing the chorus several times to “Let’s keep on fighting for a Free World.”
An excellent experience to have come to this festival.

Best setlist in quite a while!"...would you like some forks?" EV 12-02-060

Definitely a greatest hits show so setlist was not what I would have preferred, but I was there with people that I love, one of whom was there for his first show, so for that it was perfect. He had a wonderful time, heard all the songs he wanted to hear, and came out of it a convert. When you add to that the wonderful atmosphere of JazzFest, the good weather and the fact that we’re in New Orleans, who can complain?

Went with the family. Two first time concert goers, not to mention their first PJ show. The weather held out. The people around us were very kind. Had a blast. I have seen PJ 6 times. Was my favorite show. A full circle moment in some ways watching my favorite band with my kids, listening to those words and just being thankful to be in the moment. Thank you PJ for being a big part of the soundtrack of my life!! Also it was great to see the band in such high spirits. They were jovial, smiling and EV had a lot of great messages about Love. Proud to be a fan. One to remember!0

Not sure how anyone could complain about a festival set that had LBC, Tremor Christ and red mosquito.0

Was my 16th show. And I think the best I’ve ever heard from Mike McCready. He was absolutely 🔥yesterday!!0

1st Jazz Fest for me and any festival for that matter. Checked out other stages before and rolled into main Festival stage about 4 pm. Worked my way up to a point with some chill people around and just rode it out from there. Enjoyed the show and glad I went. Interesting seeing a daytime show with no lights etc. No issues using their express bus and getting in/out was pretty efficient. Lot of casual and even non-fans around and they seemed into it. The higher energy songs helped and very little let down at all from first song on. Fun time overall. Of course I would have preferred 21 (or more) songs over 20 but when I saw Dark Matter and Won't Tell were cut for Red Mosquito, I’ll take that trade. Here are some pics and sorry they’re mainly of what could see on the screen. Best I could do.
