i love that disney and abc do not stand by their initial decision.

the only thing they stand by is that "it is bad for us to lose $4 billion in 3 days."

    spineless. no principles.

I always find it kinda weird when people make these types of comments.  Why do you ever protest anything then?  I mean, they are a company and supposed to look out for their employees and shareholders aren't they?

I really do wish I got to live the lives of so many here that never did anything wrong or made a bad decision.  I am honored to be in your presence though.  Thank you.

But weren't they doing that when they suspended him? Stupid decision. Probably their plan all along to just do it for a few days to try and get Kimmel to apologize.

    Epic fail

in fairness staffing was already a problem.... however...

One disabled Marine veteran has not had a primary care doctor assigned to him since his previous doctor left in the winter, his wife said.

The VA “was never like this before. There’s a lack of staff, empty rooms, locked doors,” she added.

    my thoughts as well.

they harmed the writers, the people that work in production, the ushers in the theater, and their shareholders. not just kimmel, who would have been fine if he just quit and did a podcast or something.

they would have done less damage to their brand if they had done nothing.

fcc is not going to pull their license. people forget that trump always chickens out.

the people that made these rash decisions should be let go.

the uproar was created by the administration that cannot handle having their narrative questioned. the admin reacted the way they did because they could not bear to have their motive questioned, so they blew it up in the press and online. disney could have told them to fuck off, but they capitulated and look how stupid they look now. many of those subscribers they lost are gone forever. me included.

They made the right decision; a decision that they had no choice but to make after making the wrong decision. In the interim, my wife dumped the Hulu subscription. We're not going to sign back up. We still live in a world where greedy people can use a weaponized federal government to put money in their pockets at the expensive of freedom of speech. I'm not letting ABCDisney off the hook with open arms.

I don't even know if ChicFilA still gives money to organizations I don't like and I don't care. I just haven't had the interest in going back.
