Interesting that the Fox poll is the worst for him...

Probably because it has the fewest viewers playing the stock market.

I have said it before and will say it again. The comparisons to Hitler have no basis and are an insult. There are no mass murders, there are no SS death squads. Get a grip. If you cannot afford the time to listen, then you have no right to judge. Do not compare our President to foreign leaders. They live in different places. Again, I do not support what is happening, but it is just another political cycle.

Why do people think the only things Hitler ever did was the holocaust and the SS?? There are TONS of apt comparisons between Hitler and Trump that have nothing to do with either of those things (although Trump's ICE is a LOT like the brown shirts and the early version of the SS, so... ya know). If you don't think so, then you must not know very much about Hitler and his political and propaganda tactics and history, or the history and tactics of the Nazi party in general.
This and in the early days of Hitler's leadership we didn't have gas chambers and concentration camps. Once that caliber of stuff happens, it's too late. The comparison to Hitler are apt. It doesn't make the two regimes identical but the parallels to how they came into power, the way they didn't need majority support, the scapegoating, the federal involvement in things they're not usually involved in, and, most importantly, the minimization of what was happening until it was too late, are spot on. Will the United States ever look exactly like Hitler's Germany? No. Will it be as bad as Hitler's Germany? Maybe not. But we're heading towards dictatorship in a similar fashion. Therefore, the comparisons are not only not insulting but necessary. Once it's undeniable, it'll be unavoidable.

I have never told you how to live your life. That is unfair. I find the comparisons of Trump and his tactics to Nazi Germany to be completely unfounded and uncomparable. That is all.

I would find it hard to blame him...he's 32 I guess but I don't fault him or the team from accepting the invitation.

I mean I wish they would have turned trump down for the comments he made about the women but that's a tough one. ALso kind of hard to refuse the medal of freedom although I don't think it was deserved...it's a team game after all

You cannot compare immigration enforcement with mass genocide. Sorry but there is a huge gap there in my eyes.

SMH. We're NOT. I have no idea how many times people have to say it, lol, nor why you're not getting it. There is NOT a gap. You are just focusing on the wrong thing, and/or don't understand that there is a LOT more you need to look at to understand the comparisons are super duper apt. I think someone else said something about reading a book? I can think of a few you could benefit from reading.

YOU'RE NOT GETTING IT. WE'RE NOT MAKING THAT COMPARISON. YOU THINK WE ARE COMPARING TRUMP TO HITLER'S FINAL SOLUTION. WE ARE NOT. WE'RE COMPARING SIMILAR TIMELINES AND TACTICS. NO ONE IS SAYING TRUMP IS GOING TO COMMIT GENOCIDE. FFS

no, and I sincerely hope they don't. I obviously don't know Helle personally, but he seems like a really nice guy, a family man, and he has sincerely embraced putting down roots here. My guess is he's not engaged enough politically to understand the firestorm he's about to experience.

I could be 100% wrong. He could be full on MAGA. I have no idea. It's just not the vibe I get. But I also never would have guessed Sammy Hagar would be full maga either. So who knows.

Sure I do, targeting of certain ethnic groups for immigration enforcement. Encampment. Subjecting them to the ICE tactics. But it is not the same in my view. Even if due process is compromised I cannot say it is as violent as the Germans were. Not even close. Conceptually you may think it is similar, but it is not.
