Some of them seem so out of shape that they can’t possibly be law enforcement and I suspect that the one common thread among them is their white nationalism. These are the 21st century brown shirts and they’ll be used for other purposes. I won’t be surprised when all hell breaks loose, probably by August. Hope I’m wrong but people naturally reach a breaking point.

I look forward to being accused of supporting “terrorism.”

Today, after months of maintaining it could not bring back Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was wrongfully rendered to the notorious CECOT terrorist prison in El Salvador, the Trump administration returned him to the U.S. A grand jury in Tennessee has charged Abrego Garcia with participating in a ten-year conspiracy to carry undocumented migrants from Texas to other parts of the country. The indictment alleges Abrego Garcia participated in more than 100 trips that moved children as well as members of the MS-13 Salvadoran gang.

The indictment has issues. Abrego Garcia is the only person named in the “conspiracy,” and the investigation into it began only in April, after the courts ordered the administration to bring Abrego Garcia back to the U.S. The indictment is based on a 2022 incident in which Abrego Garcia was stopped in Tennessee for speeding with eight passengers in his vehicle. He told police they were construction workers and was neither ticketed nor charged. While the indictment alleges that Abrego Garcia lied to the officer by not revealing he was coming from Texas, the referral report says he told the officer he was coming from Houston, Texas.

Phil Williams of NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, Tennessee, noted that the chief of the criminal division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nashville, Ben Schrader, resigned on May 21, saying: “It has been an incredible privilege to serve as a prosecutor with the Department of Justice, where the only job description I’ve ever known is to do the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons.” Williams notes that May 21 is the same day as Abrego Garcia’s indictment.

ABC News reported that Schrader resigned out of “concerns that the case was being pursued for political reasons.”

Like most liberals, you have absolutely no idea what was happening behind the scenes. Difference between me and the extreme left is, I’m willing to admit we didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes. But the fool that wrote this letter, they know everything.

 We know there was a grand jury that concluded May 21. Obviously they were telling the public one thing and doing something behind the scenes with the intent to bring the alleged criminal back to the United States, that they were not disclosing. But go on with your conspiracy theories

 It could’ve taken weeks or over a month to assemble the evidence and organize a grand jury. The point is we don’t know. But you liberals know everything, Without knowing anything

Judge orders tranche of documents in Kilmar Abrego Garcia case to be made public

Washington — The federal judge overseeing the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia ordered a batch of documents to be unsealed Wednesday in response to a request from a media coalition that includes CBS News.

U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis said seven records must be be made available on the public docket for Abrego Garcia's case, though one of the documents contains redactions. She also said the transcript from an April 30 hearing will be partially unsealed and include redactions that aim to protect potentially classified information or other sensitive material.

Xinis' order was in response to a request to unseal court records made by more than a dozen news organizations, including CBS News. The judge found that the media outlets "rightly contend that, at common law, the public enjoys a presumptive right to access court records, overcome only when outweighed by competing interests."

The Justice Department opposed the request to make the records public on two grounds: the filings in question are discovery materials that are typically not available to the press and the public; and keeping the documents sealed is needed to protect national security and prevent sensitive information from being disseminated.

As to those arguments, Xinis said "neither withstand scrutiny."

One batch of three documents had been available to the public but were then sealed following an April hearing. Another record is a three-page Justice Department request to pause for one week the court's order to turn over certain information about efforts to facilitate Abrego Garcia's release from Salvadoran custody.

The document that contains redactions is from Abrego Garcia's lawyers and urged the judge to maintain the original deadlines for information to be produced.

The final records made public are a brief, one-sentence noticeand additional request from the Justice Department for Xinis to pause proceedings to avoid interfering with efforts to "resolve this litigation."
