Had it in my cart ready to checkout then it wanted a code to verify my shop account. Gone by time I entered it
I honestly don't understand how the shop pay works.  Sometimes the pay button just changes color and sometimes they send the code.  I wish it was consistent.  Captcha is the worst.  It usually takes 3 times to identify the stairs, motorcycles or bridges.
shopify makes you do a captcha before check out? that would irritate me to no end, specially if time was of the essence.... never know on those how much of the fire hydrant or bike has to be in the sqaure to qualify... and for traffic lights, is it just the lights or the whole pole?
So far shopify either sends me a text code or the color just changes on the pay button.  I have bought a few prints from the OBEY store and they use captcha.  It's super frustrating.  I am also on a desktop computer - not sure if the process is different if you are using a phone.

How much were the AP’s out of curiosity?

Not surprised one bit they sold out almost instantly, it’s a beautiful poster.

crazy. congratulations! great poster. If you identify any dupes/bots, my credit card is ready.. Cheers!
how do people check out instantly? Obviously there's auto fill for payment and address.... but the orders arrive almost instantly... it never ceases to blow me away... just always glad the store held.... seems like carts were gettign rug pulled but at least the site held... always nerve racking knowing there's a load of traffic all hitting at once

Don’t blame you, Brad, but this blows.
I hear ya..... wish I coulda stayed on my old site... I don't understand why it's not a standard business practice for any item or good, that once a customer carts something, that takes it out of the inventory, rather then 500 people carting 100 of the same thing and then sprinting to see how gets them.... it makes no sense.... just remove it from the inventory once it is carted

it is a poster show at the end of May in Los Angeles, put on by Munk One and sponsored by the Ten Club and Tsurt.... there will be 20_+ artists selling posters.

I really liked the old system.  I think you had 10 minutes to check out?  This is way too stressful....

i am a desktop dinosaur too.... always have been for my job.... never made the leap to a lap top, and I think that kept me in the desktop past.... when everyone was using laptops and going to coffee shops to work, I was still at my desk..... then people on lap tops went to phones.... and i am still on my desktop. Old habits die hard...... that shoulda been the tag line to one of the Die Hard sequels..... cut to Bruce Willis in an air duct again... movie guy voice "old habits...DIE HARD"..........

Thanks for the reply. Best of luck to our LA friends. If anyone wants to pick one up for me, that would be great! Poster works great for me as a Steelworker in NW Indiana.

i hear ya... sale days are always stressful on my end too.... will it all work like it should? Did the shipping get charged correctly? Just sitting watching the clock waiting for the time to flip the switch is stressful.... "fingers crossed, hope it all works"

Brad just so you know for those who tried to buy on the phone the top two items that show in your featured items were unable to be clicked on even before the poster dropped. I did  a trial run and noticed this. Tried to use my computer instead but I knew it wouldn't be fast enough.

there were only 90 for sale... sold out almost right after i turned it on

I do miss my sites cart system... don't like people can cart something then have it taken out of their cart if they don't check out in record time

100 more at Color Haiku... think i am not going to do a poster buddy system... just one per customer
Thankfully I’ve got an awesome friend in LA who’s going to help me out. It’s too good not to have :)

That’s the issue I ran into. Wasn’t able to click on it at all.

demetrios mentioned the same thing..... when I turned the poster on i clicked on the image on the home page and it took me right to the purchase page... so I don't know why the issue you and a few others mentioned the last sale too happens.... if anyone has any shopify trouble shooting expertise I am all ears

I managed to pick one up. Thanks Brad, it’s such a fantastic poster, I can’t wait to see this AP version with the metallic inks.

On Shoppay it’s just three clicks so it’s a fairly quick process to purchase. Not surprised it sold out in seconds given so many people wanted it.
