I tried Whipping the other day and I found changing chords so quick was tough....although Jeff adds so much to that song with his base underlining everything, just a guitar doesn't cut it...you know??
Anyway, it's really fun to play....it's such a rockin' tune!!

May have been done before, but what cover would you guys play as a final song in the set to bring the curtain down? Something to take things to the top notch and go out with a bang...

yeah it doesn't really kick unless you at least have a bass under you..
i remember you being newish to guitar, and those chord changes can be tricky..
just practice
a good rule of thumb for new guitar players (i've found) is that if it's hard.. play it until you get it right..
that seems like common sense, but just stick to it and you'll get better very quickly

Take it line by line. Don't worry about the 2nd line until you've got the first...and if it's a show, and you mess something up, remember everyone messes up. The good people (Ed) don't make it seem like a goof, whereas the bad people (Ashlee Simpson) make it painfully obvious.

yeah ed just keeps playing, if you watch any of the newer performances and you know the structures of the songs, you can definately see how much ed fucks up but he keeps going. Its hard singing and jammin!

Intro Stone Verse Stone G2 (strum) Fill 1 Mike
It would be a nice song though. Fast all the way through, stops suddenly. It'd be nice to end the main set with.
