About to be an empty nester come August. Wife and I have started the conversation. Where to? Boca? Scottsdale? Nashville? Atlanta? Austin? Myrtle beach? Vermont with Jose? The answer is the same. New York. We are not leaving. We love it here and always will.

I've got hopefully only about 5 years before retirement.  We've had a ton of discussions....picking a location is really difficult unless there is a major draw for some reason.  We have a daughter that will be out of college and working by then, so we will also see where she lands (though not likely to stay in 1 place anyhow).

At this point, Asheville (may not be worth the $), Scottdale, Tennessee (close to Nash or Knox or in the Smokies), North Carolina (other than asheville a lot of good options)...perhaps Orlando (as we both like Disney and feel it provides some cool options that Speedy talks about here).  Perhaps 2 small places, 1 near airport with good flights to travel and 1 near daughter or in cincy.  Problem for me is I am a college basketball junkie and would want to be in Cincy for that season....but that is the crappy season in Cincy!!!!!

Anyhow, rambling to just say, it is exciting, annoying, and daunting to think of where to go when retired.

I know, I just like fuck around… regardless i don’t take anything for granted. I’m a truly truly pleased individual , people have it lot worse. 

It’s progressing / time will tell how some of my tendons respond, good amount of damage. My wound is healed pretty well, they stitched me up
last week.. with infection they leave it open ( bandaged up until they are confident all infection is gone.. no signs of it… that’s what they thought  last time 

It’s not a diabetic thing… never had it, my A1C is even lower now, 5.3 …. Something got in in 2024, played ton of golf in the swampy August NY weather… got a soft spot callous on the outside of my left foot… didn’t seem too bad, in a few days it turned.. maybe in my hotel hoping during ‘24 tour.. something got in 

I had viral Menigitis as a kid… it’s fungal bacterial infection, almost killed he.. could be that too.. that it colonizes and something triggers it 

scary shit..

I do hyperbaric everyday for 2 hours to heal the skin around it… do (30) treatments then they reavaluate if I need more 

it’s relaxing.. I watch movies or sports.. last week pga championship was pretty cool. 

I’ll never give in to wanting to live life… still nice I was born I’m shot out of cannon, I may need to cut back for a while on sports… kills me, I love tennis and used it for cardio.. I can’t stand just running, bored me to death.

doing weighted vest to add resistance around the house, trying for 5000 steps a day.. have special boot for now, I was doing min 12-15k last few yrs. I’m doing 200G protein in shakes a day plus chicken: tofu or eggs/ egg whites … nothing else. In a calorie deficit to just stay in the game. Metabolism was never great but it def slows down… that’s why im
intetested in TRY injections.. got Testisterone checked yesterday… 

mentally it’s been difficult.. dealing with a big sideshow issue that doesn’t help… but I’ll handle that 😏

if Sen emails bunch of you down the road… pay attention, I hope I can resolve it prior… dirty dirty dirty shit

Thank God for Sen… we are both mature and support each other now as friends… family stuff pulled us apart… but she’s the very best. You don’t find people like her in this world… I’ve never once questioned her intentions… she’s been helping still with my dog, some medical bills… sorting them

and to my other Ex Marijana… I posted pics of us in Croatia at summer… she came back into my life when someone fucked me over BAD… took me back to my roots and that trip has sustained me … she is salt of the earth like Sen. I’m so lucky for these 2… and even a 3rd 🙃 Meghan.. she calls and checks in on me , another light in this world …. I’ve maintained great relationships… no need to be nasty, I support these women as well as all women

I need demon spray …. It’s all good, no one’s perfect but I can honestly say in my life I have never ever ever set someone up in any matter… things get messy in life, but don’t be a dick like you know who says that
