One thing we found out down here in Central Florida?
Do not drink the tap water!
Its just disgusting. 

We have filtered water coming out of our fridge, thank goodness. 
Im going to put some filters under the sink to see if that helps. Or I may just get a water service like Culligan to deliver once a week or 2 weeks. 

But yeah, the tap water is just fucking disgusting.

Haha. Even in south east Florida. There’s always little signs in the hotels that say the yellow tint is normal. I’m like yea. No thanks

I dont want to cook with it. Im not rinsing veggies with it. Im not happy I have to shower with it. I am certainly not letting my cats anywhere near it. It's fucking disgusting.

Mid month I’m headed up to Vermont to look at a 2nd home for us we found one we really like! But can’t get up there till my wife gets home from Ireland, we def want to keep our house here on Long Island and live part of summer and part of winter here we love having access to the ocean and Long Island sound with a few minute drive.
we want to spend from November through January up in Vermont and early spring, we’re hoping it can work out that way

That looks beautiful. I hope you like it in person. I could buy something like that outright as well. But I can’t imagine myself living outside a big city. I love the energy of NYC. Not sure I could ever leave. At least not now.

Yes Oregon was a place we wanted to look to live in but my eldest is staying put on Long Island so we want to be close to him this house is 5 hour drive! Yes I can do small jobs around the house, after living in suburbia Long Island if I can get away for 6 months to be in a peaceful quiet area that’s what I need and still be able to live here!

Well we were up in Vermont this past weekend and we both loved the house the surrounding countryside is absolutely gorgeous! 

We offered 350k and it has been accepted it needs some cosmetic work outside very little needs to be done inside! We’re very excited to get going with this next chapter
