We should be looking at Governors and Senators, you know, people with political experience who could lead the country and represent us on the world stage. The problem seems to be though that many states are electing local celebrities/rich people or people based on looks and not expertise or experience.

On one side people are chanting for the removal of DEI because it should be about merit and experience while then appointing/hiring people based on whether they like them or they're "loyal". It's as if they only want to end DEI because it interferes with cronyism.

I get it...but that doesn't seem to work for us. I think Gavin Newsom would be great but the GOP mud machine has probably damaged him too much.

Cuban is a philanthropist and his pharmacy company clearly doesn't have much of a profit motive. He's using his wealth to serve which is refreshing.
