Do we think these (specifically the 10c variant) will ship before 04/25 or does Santos’s response here indicate otherwise? Seems like the lack of updates post a delay would indicate they aren’t optimistic. Frustrating to wait with no clarity for this but looking forward to finally getting a copy of this fantastic album on vinyl08 -MSG I.eV Newark.Stone in BK. 09 -Spectrum II,III,IV. 10- Prudential Center.MSG I,II. 30 Years of Above
Speaking with Jason Kerepesi & Paul Ghiglieri of State of Love and Trust: A Pearl Jam Podcast, Mike explores the 1995 collaboration between himself, Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, drummer Barrett Martin of Screaming Trees, and bassist John Baker Saunders:
You know, the Mad Season record to me is very important in terms of… it's when I got clean and sober; it's the first time I felt like I could write songs, you know, felt comfortable writing songs because the guys in my band and Pearl Jam were really good fucking songwriters. I felt intimidated, I felt like I couldn’t do it like they could. So, this record was a game changer for me. Like right after this, I wrote “Given to Fly” and a lot of stuff on Yield and some of the bigger PJ songs because of this situation, you know? I know it gave me the power - I don’t know if it’s the right word, power - but just kind of the confidence to write songs for Pearl Jam, you know? I’ll always love this record and feel sad about the record… there’s many emotions about it, but I love it for that main reason. (Watch ep. 250).0 -

Is this new version hopefully out next week supposed to be remastered or anything? I ask b/c it could use a bump in sound to make it "louder". And if so, it gets uploaded to streaming.Admin @ Vinyl Collective: Vinyl Record Collector Community and Forum

And if so, it gets uploaded to streaming.Audio has been recently mastered for vinyl and Lacquers were cut by Levi Seitz. The Mad Season album "Above" is being re-released for its 30th anniversary, with lacquers cut by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering. The vinyl masters were cut by Levi Seitz, and the runout groove will feature "BLACKBELT-LEVI". Black Belt Mastering is a respected vinyl mastering facility known for its high-quality work.Hopefully we get a new 24Bit Flac release.

They feed the collectors who feed into the frenzy. If people stopped lining up at 3am for Record Store Day, there'd be a lot more than 3000 copies of something around the entire world.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

While the variant game can be a bit much, it is on fans if they obsess about getting all the variants. Independent stores all had an option to partake in a variant.
I get delays are frustrating and frankly my point was it is comical because it keeps happening in this bands circle like clockwork, but in terms of the small runs, pre-orders, that is the reality of modern physical media. Artists and especially labels that assist those artists have no interest in sitting on stock endlessly. His eminence has yet to show.
