I grabbed a 10C version before I even saw the /250s were a thing… but then when it popped back in stock, I couldn’t say no. Luckily I had a gift card for 10C, so I’m rationalizing this as 2 for the price of one 😆

I already have two copies.  An OP and the first reissue.   The 10c version looks cool, but I dont really need a 3rd copy.
Same here. It’s hard to see this “exclusive coloured vinyl” craze as anything more than a cash grab. I’m happy with the copies I’ve got, don’t need another colour (even if they do look cool!)

yah it's crazy being this deep in the vinyl resurgence, and it's here's another rare colour copy of the vinyl you already have a few copies of.  I've been better at resisting the last while.  Maybe it's better for people newer to collecting vinyl.

Yetee says “ The product 'Above 30th Anniversary Edition (Indie Exclusive)' is already sold out.”. Hoping that isn’t true and perhaps a glitch before they started taking orders.  Doesn’t seem that any other Indie store has this up either.  3 k is a lot, so shouldn’t be too hard to get when available to order.

I think I have 3.  Original I bought in the 90s, the RSD version, then the 10c RSD variant.

I only have finite room to fit records, I've really been trying to resist buying more duplicates to leave room for more non-duplicates.   I haven wondered of the record resurgence will hit a plateau.  How many new customers is it get getting, how many are they selling the same records to over and over again kind of thing.

I think with PJ it's more of a collecting thing.  I only spin my RSD Dark Matter, because I had it my hands first as I saw it on RSD last year and the 10c edition was a few weeks from arriving in the mail.

Anyways, must resist.   As soon as my current shelving gets full, I think the only way to make more room is to purge ones that were given to me that I never listen to and duplicates.

Looks like this is the “indie” version, we’ll see how long it lasts.

Edit:  already sold out here.  I’ve seen it at a couple other places though.

We already had the OG that I bought in the UK back in 98, and the OG that my wife bought back in Australia in 98.
I forgot that I'd ordered the gold vinyl from 10C when I found a copy of the clear RSD version.
It's annoying, but that's what you get for not paying attention!

Personally, I’m a bit miffed that they changed the /750 to /950. As a pretentious record collector asshole, this annoys me. 🤪
  • Love that they changed it

This feels like a lot copies (When adding up all the different variants) for an album that had a reissue not all that long ago? :)

It’s just confusing as some  gray indie marble was limited to 3000 but gray marble is limited to 1000? I’m just confused! Maybe it’s because I’m just old!
