Yes. They’ll run on the $90 range and will have an early bird window as well.

How about transpo from downtown, Canal St? Are there metro/taxi options or is the best choice to buy shuttle tix?

I'm struck by the fact that the set lists for the prior Jazz Fest appearances are not greatest-hits sets.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Should be in a couple weeks. Go ahead and download AXS app if you don’t already have it.

Pretty sure a rock and roll band can choose to not play a Shell backed event.

Active choice to instead do so.

    Sad times.

Or they can support a community they love /that loves them. I think we can find an excuse to boycott every venue/locale they try to play. Steve Gleason and his family will probably write the set list. Friendliest town in the US embraces jammers with a cold beverage and a full hug. NOLA is a glass half full. I’m going to take a sip.

Every festival has sponsors that could be called into question, maybe not like big oil and gas. One thing is for sure, Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder are available to the highest bidder (to wit, private show at the Capitol Theater). Got an extra 2m lying around?  You can book Pearl Jam.

Question, how do we know which stage they will play? I have never been to Jazz Fest so IDK which stage the headliners usually play.

Couldn’t agree more. Sure, other sponsors may have poor qualities but Shell is the worst I’ve seen.

I didn’t go to voodoo fest in 2013 but I recall it being after the BP oil spill. My recollection is that he said something along the lines of “here’s a toast to BP, clean up your fucking mess!” Someone please tell me if or when he said this

From the faviews: “Ed greets the crowd and says he has some wine left. “We know we are just preparing the stage for Nine Inch Nails and we would like to toast Trent Reznor and his band mates.” Ed also talks about the gulf disaster and The Gulf Restoration Network who are trying to help clean up the oil spill and get people the truth about all the advertising and misinformation a company whom Ed won’t name but he will give out their initials, BP, After tropical storm Karen more tar balls were discovered and it is clear that not is well in the gulf.”
