One more rant from my soapbox: I WANT the band to succeed & BE successful, but I miss Kelly. I have a feeling we wouldn't be party to all these ticket shenanigans if he was still running the ship. I think he saw what was ahead, and it helped him decide it was a good run.
NIN just dropped a bunch of dates, and if you'll notice... no Premium or Platinum surge-priced BS. Here's a Floor ticket: $300. Here's a nose bleed: $64. Upfront & honest. Buy them, or don't.
    Almost completely sold out.
They also added 2nd nights to Brooklyn, Chicago & LA. Plenty of tix still left for those, but they're tiered. They'll sell. And resale has already been turned on. It's not perfect, but you have more control over your concert experience.
With the current system for PJ, we have a much higher risk of eating tickets by not being able to lower the resale price for shows we cannot attend. I sincerely hope this is the last year the employ the current system, because thanks to bots & hackers, it just doesn't work.

Go Animal, I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but both Pittsburgh shows are now “officially” sold out on TM. Curiously, I have a Capital One credit card that allows me access to concert tickets, and there are plenty of seats listed for both shows (at much higher than face, of course…). Apparently my credit card company is in cahoots with Vivid Seats, but they guarantee the tickets. I did notice a single in the lower bowl for PITT N2 for $241, but most lower bowl seats start at around $400. I wonder if these prices will fluctuate as well.
Sorry I missed this! I don't like Vivid much, but if you feel comfortable with it, I hope it works out! $241 is light years better than PJ Premium. And yes, those prices will fluctuate. Vivid is all resellers. The closer we get to show time, those prices will drop too, @mck90
Odd how some CC companies are partners with ticket resale sites. I have AMEX, and they sometimes do cashback for tickets bought on SeatGeek. Funny how that works out...

As for NIN, the resale (at least for Boston) is much more expensive. No way I'm paying hundreds of $ for some uppers. Sigh.

The prices for PJ premium for Raleigh N2 crated with the release of more tickets. Compared to N1 lower level seats are $300-$500 less. Sometimes for the same exact seat. Crossing my fingers that good tickets will be readily available late April/early May.

Post on Page 1 updated. Here's where we're at:
    • FL N1 Premiums have dropped in price. HOLD. If they go unsold by 04/23, it's possible they'll drop to face value that night, or day-of show. FL N2 is now showing as "sold out" which means someone(s) bought those $1,000 F2F resales. There will be a row or two dropping by 04/25, but this show will definitely sell out.
    • ATL N1 will not sell out, so your chances of scoring decent tickets have gone up considerably. N2 is a little more popular, but I anticipate some production holds being released between now & 05/01. There are also some all-inclusive seats starting at $319 in Club Level if you contact their Premium sales team. Better than Premium, because you get all you can eat (and sometimes, drink).
    • NOLA Jazz Fest single day tickets dropped, and are still sitting at $130 after taxes/fees. Should be a great show!
    • Nashville N1 remains the biggest ticket rollout fumble of the tour. This show should've sold out, but they held back too many uppers. The show won't sell out unless they drop those to $99/ea. N2 remains popular. Bridgestone Arena also has Club Level seats starting at $499 each, all inclusive.
    • Raleigh N1 (Mother's Day) is gonna be a fun one, and is selling better than N2. I still think N2 will be the loose & lively show, but regardless, a good time will be had.
    • Pittsburgh. 2nd hottest stop behind Florida. Magic Premiums still somehow keep popping up for $500 (then 800 dollars). Funny, how that works! Still, the shows will be great. Will we get another classic poster from N1 or N2?

One thing I've noticed that's pretty fun is when an F2F ticket appears, often TM will release a Premium ticket a few rows in front of it, often at a lower price.

Here are a few examples from Raleigh N2 (clockwise from top)

Section 124/125 has a few $198 and a $417 F2F, so TM drops a $300 premium in front of them.

Section 127 has three $538 F2F...TM drops a few $300 in front of them.

    Section 130 has a lone $198 F2F, TM drops a 300 in front

Section 102 has a few $505 F2F singles, TM drops a trio of $472 premiums.

    Yep. I hate it.
I mean, I get why the system is in place: to beat, or prevent scalping (and generate a little extra revenue). But for 3 years now, we've had PJ fans literally eat the cost of a ticket that they bought on impulse, because they couldn't unload it.
Part of why I make threads like these is to discourage buying PJ Premium, because even if you're okay with the cost, if you can't go? And you have to list those tickets you paid $505, $748, or $1,053 for? They're just going to sit there.
    RARELY, do they move.
My counter argument has always been to at LEAST let us lower the resale cost. See that $505 ticket right there? It won't sell. If it was mine, I'd at least like the freedom to lower it to $300, or $198, or even $99! Then it's not a complete loss. No profit, but no wasted ticket/force giveaway.
    The system needs to change.

Absolutely the seller should be able to lower the price.  Totally agree.

Also agree that buying premium is risky business.  There are 6 fan to fan resale pairs for FL2 at over $1000 per ticket.

The only time I would buy premium is day of show if I am basically at the venue and holding out for a standard wing drop didn’t work out.  And even then I would only do a small premium.
