Did any Dark Matter songs open a show?   Is this the first album without a song used to open a show?   Just wondering. If they used one what would you want?  Waiting for Stevie would be pretty sick

    Good question. To my mind I don’t think any did but the setlist thread and show review thread would confirm it for us. I always thought Dark Matter itself would make a good opening song.

    Thinking about which would make make the most sense to become an opener… React, Respond could occupy a similar role as Go. I think Wreckage and Upper Hand could fit really nicely in a second slot. To me, Waiting for Stevie would serve as a nice opener. Big commanding chords, a continuous build, it would feel like a nice selection to set the stage for the evening.

    Upper Hand is the only one I could see eventually opening a show but who knows! But if they go with the fast opening then there’s a lot of others that would work as well.

    I told my wife yesterday that I could see Upper Hand opening a show in 2025. I’d love that.

    Would prefer they end their shows with Setting Sun, and start their shows this year with .. Yellow Ledbetter for once. j/k

    Even though I don't love either song... I was I could have gotten into the Apollo to hear Alright and Retrograde (back to back actually).  Doubt I ever get them now.  Gigaton really is the lost album. And this is coming from someone who saw half of the album premiered in Jersey.

    I only had one show this tour and got Can't Keep....it was amazing. Then to top it off they went right into Present Tense, Given to Fly, Corduroy. Literally starting crying in the opening notes of Present Tense.

    Coming off Philly 2, I was wondering how Baltimore would stand up, but that opening barrage changed my mid quickly
