I don't disagree with those saying there will be more tickets available closer to the show... but good luck being online the second they drop and then being fast enough to cart them & check out.
If TM's policy for suspending accounts doesn't change between now & then, it's going to be ugly.
This is really the bottom line. We have a very small window to make some noise.
Should I un-bookmark/follow this thread or will it go back the spot to check for actual F2F drops?
It might go back to the spot to check for actual drops, but it doesn't matter. There's obviously a slim chance that we're wrong about Ticketmaster rigging the game. But with how aggressively they're banning people for refreshing/browsing, privileged web access and API access are, by far, the most likely explanations for how newly listed tickets disappear so quickly and end up on reseller sites.
If partners are using the Ticketing API to pull F2F tickets, you absolutely cannot win. If you stood any chance of winning, it went out with the window with TM's new stance on banning accounts for Terms violations.
There's some truth in the idea that you'll have a better chance closer to the show as more tickets become available. But it won't be because you'll have better odds or more chances... it will be because Ticketmaster and their partners have all the supply/demand data, and we have none of it. When they decide that seats listed on F2F don't represent a big enough opportunity relative to market value, either due to excess supply, shrinking demand, or proximity to showtime, they will let people have some wins.
I'm 99% convinced that's where we are now.
If there was a path to getting 10c (and other artist representation) involved, it's this: If Ticketmaster is giving privileged F2F access to 3rd parties and taking a cut of aftermarket pricing, they are robbing the artists of their rightful share of dynamic pricing. In addition to getting various artist fan communities involved, I think that's the rallying angle. We, the fans, are being cheated out of a fair shot at affordable tickets on a platform that is literally marketed as created to give fans a fair shot at affordable tickets. And Ticketmaster & their partners are literally stealing money from our favorite artists.

Let’s keep this thread a place to come to try to help each other with f2f. Otherwise, maybe we start a new thread and let this be the complaint thread part deux?

I'm not aware that direct links are no longer viable. Has anyone (who's relatively adept at F2F) tried this and still been sniped??

I have not personally tried direct links yet this go around but have heard from multiple people that they have been successful. So I think the direct links are still viable.

Not viable for me cuz no one will hook me up 😂 Still ISO a single for ATL 2 front 1/2 of arena.

So, other than the rampant bannings 🙄 might still be about the same as last year

Viable. Worked for me for raleigh night 2, looking to do the same for raleigh night 1.
I know it sucks, but I would say if you can be fluid with your travel this will work itself out. Most likely all those F2F getting scooped and posted on 3rd party will stagnate until the scalpers flood them back onto F2F at face value rather than take the monetary loss. Realistically by then they would have netted a nice profit off some GAs and will be content to dump the supply back as the premium prices drop as well.
To the Don Quixote’s on here, I did run through partner API terms of service and if you can sleuth your way and forensically prove a listing on StubHub directly scooped by partner API at above cost value, you could show violation of clause 11. But it is at TM discretion to do anything about it, so the windmill will win again.
Okay, so trying to get caught up here. My TM account has been paused for 4-5 days now. My payment methods are gone. I should be good to use the tickets I currently have in the account for now, but after that it’s dead? I have some Metallica tickets listed; if they sell I’ll have to contact TM because I can’t add a card to get paid? Appreciate any guidance since it seems others have pursued these pauses to their disappointing ends.

In a nutshell you’ve got it. If wasn’t setup ahead of time you will have to get them to add a bank account or debit card to get paid.
Throughout this mess I somehow have four cases open. First rejection today for "attempting to circumvent
terms and security protocols that are in place to prevent users
from acquiring and reselling tickets in ways that are illegal or
prohibited." MFers I'm just trying to go to a show. I've sold a told of three tickets ON THEIR PLATFORM. One for a show that was postponed and two at face value and I bought two better ones for more right before that. Three more rejections to go and then I get to email blast TM. Probably Monday. Fun times. At some point it’s become about the principle. I might even eat the $300 cost for arbitration knowing even their in-house council will waste at least that much.

More likely played their little game through the initial rush of f2f (f2bot) hysteria. Then got three a threatened and said "okay, well change it" but the damage had already been done.

Probably means TM is about to put back all those uppers they took off sale after the pre-sale and they need real people to buy them. Stub Hub prob said no they didnt want them .
My account is back too! Of the thirteen that have mentioned it on the thread that makes four of us. Just as a finished a two page email to TM. . Looks like they came to their senses or blocked the wrong person. Whatever it was I’m happy.
The only bright side was that I got to connect with some really great people here. You guys rock.
I think I’ll pause for a bit and start hunted after a month or two. Many you all find the shows of your hopes.
