I’m guessing it’ll open late winter/early spring. Now we just gotta hope that 10c actually follows through on its promise to cancel all 10c tickets appearing on secondary sites for above face value. If not, F2F will likely be taken over by the scalpers/bots once again.
How do they cancel them when no seller will ever list the exact sear number?
Yah, I assumed there's a reason why sellers only announce section and row, it makes it impossible to know who exactly bought those tickets.
Valid point. But they can cancel all the GAs appearing on the secondary market since GAs were 10c-exclusive and were only available through the 10c presale.
How would you know whos is whos? The ticket section, row, and seat number is one thing that would directly identify where it came from but if there are 1000 GA tix sold and 200 on the secondary market.... whos are they? They all just say GA.

People selling GA on the secondary market would have to either show up to the venue in person or share their login information. And not sure how stubhub even monitors or validates something like that. It obviously happens, but seems like a lot of risk for both seller and buyer.

They send it digitally, they don't go to the venue. SH doesn't care, they get their cut from the sale and if the seller can't fulfill the order they get a cut charging the seller a fee for not filling an order.

I traded for a spare Philly 1 GA and was forwarded an email from SeatGeek with a URL which brought up the ticket barcode.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

It doesn’t matter whose they are. Since GA were exclusively available to 10c members during the 10c presale and weren’t available in the TM public sale, as per 10c’s stated policy, all GAs appearing on the secondary market for above face value should be canceled/invalidated. Easier said than done though I’m sure.
I get it, but I also think you guys are underestimating how many people are on F2F. Especially gunning specifically for GA.
In theory every year F2F gets more popular with more 10c fans seemingly missing out. Especially with the small tour legs and popularity lately with the new album
Very aware of how many are trying. Very aware of new tickets popping up minutes later on stubhub and other sites right after the fan to fan sale happens as well.

I know what you're saying but if 10c sees GA on Stubhub, how do they know whose ticket to cancel? They don't. They just know a member is selling it. All the GA's look the same on SH. you dont know who is selling it.

This might be why 10c hasn’t been able to do anything about it. I’m hoping that changes this time around and they figure out a way to stop this, but I’m not overly optimistic.

the only way that works is will call ID every ticket at the venue. Talk about wait times to get into the building with 15k people having to go to will call to get their tix. it really only works for club shows.

Zack Bryant tried it back in 2023 with AXS. People had to enter as a group. It kind of worked but most venues abandoned the checks as the tour went on. Billy Strings claims to require the same ID check but again the venues don't bother.
