Would like to trade/exchange tickets with someone. Any advice on the best way to do it?

Looking for advice on trading or exchanging tickets with another fan.  I got seats to both of my local shows, but neither are GA (Pit).  I did get GA (Pit) to an out of town show.  Would like to trade the ones I got for ones to my local show.

    Of course its doable not sure what the above posters are saying. 

    People trade GA still all the time you just have to find the right trade partner.

    Sure. Yes. It's doable. But because ticket purchaser has to be present you have to find somebody else who:
    1. also has tickets to both shows
    2. has the opposite goal of you (turn location 1 seats into location 2 pit)
    It's just highly unlikely.

    There is a way to get into a club ticket exchange, I am not sure how yet but plan to find out. I got stumped on 4 shows in the auction! Prices in presale were 700+! I am shocked they are surging prices it is ridiculous!

    Not highly unlikely, particularly if the show he got has higher demand. Plenty of people go to a bunch of shows. It would help if OP identified what he has and what he's looking for though lol.

    Wanted to know if there was a good/easy/reliable way to do this or if anyone would comment with their experience trying to pull something like this off,  before I posted the exact exchange I was looking for.  Never tried anything like this before and didn't know if it was even possible.  Was worried that if I did post exact exchange that I would get messages from people trying to scam me.

    I have 2 tickets to the May 8th Nashville show. I cannot go to this show. I am hoping someone would be willing to swap tickets to the Tuesday May 6th show instead. Please let me know. Thank you.

    It's pretty easy to exchange TM logins if there's mutual trust. Less easy would be to do a timed drop using the direct link that appears when you list tickets for sale. Again would require mutual trust. The latter avoids having to give out login details but there's a significant risk of losing the tickets if you aren't adept at navigating TM resale, and maybe even if you are.

    My advice would be to follow a band that allows ticket transfers.
