Go back to the way is was and make all 10C tickets non-transferable and end this nonsense. It would probably put more tickets in the hands of locals instead of travelers that buy on spec.
Huh? They are non transferable. People are just making trades and swapping login info. If they are selling they use cash apps to transfer funds and swapping login info. Also a lot of people have become friends over the years and they are just doing favours.
.
F2F is transferable no?
Hard no. F2F can only be sold on TM site and you cannot designate them for a specific person (that would be a "transfer"). This is the cause of much frustration because as soon as you release them for sale, its a free-for-fall race to see who gets to cart and purchase them first. Bots and other folks who are monitoring constantly are ready to pounce.
But they are 10C tickets correct?
Not exclusively. Any tickets purchased on TM are being resold on F2F. 10C, Artist Presale, PJ Premium...
I understand the difference between trying to transfer your 10C tickets without using TM. But they should not allow F2F for 10C tickets, I equate that as a "transfer" even though it is not the same as trying to give your 10C tickets to another fan without going through F2F. And I understand the TM process very well. It never works out well for the true fan. Transfers of 10C tickets should not be allowed, no matter the method IMHO.
IMO, 10C tickets should become transferable but in a controlled environment. Have a transfer/trade only marketplace hosted here on the forums. Also I think 10c tickets should have a unique transfer code included with the tickets similar to their bootleg code.
For example, you and I want to make a trade. You have 2 tickets to Pitt 1 and have I have 2 tickets to Pitt 2. We can trade on the marketplace and we use the unique transfer code on the marketplace to complete the transfer. Then we pick up our new tickets at the will call.
I also think a sell section should be added to the marketplace. If you can’t make a trade due to not being able to make any other show on the tour you can list your tickets so that way you can get a refund. The new 10c member owner of tickets will go to will call to pick up their tickets.
so essentially have an exclusive 10C tickets F2F.
It benefits everyone, the band will see more traffic on their forums, tickets are going to their core fanbase and it will eliminate the garbage of monitoring all the unofficial social media groups/exchanges for tickets
its all a dream and doubt it would happen.

Sounds good on paper but you are asking the band/management to manage thousands of ticket exchanges or sales. And manage will call. Web traffic has a minimal financial impact relative to their overall revenue. There is simply no real business case other than it would make the fans happy and I doubt that is worth what it would cost to execute. The reality is that they collect money when 10C tickets are sold through the lottery and that is the end of their involvement unless there is an issue with ticketing.
Many people buy 10C tickets with the hope they can make a show until they see flights are $600 and a hotel room is $250 a night and then the scramble to cover their losses. Or they get tickets for N1 when they really want N2. Especially now with prices so high, do not buy 10C tickets unless you know you can go. If there is a life event that prevents you from going, my hope would be that $400 concert tickets are the least of your worries.
And I am not surprised F2F is not really working. It is TM up to the same old tricks. It would not surprise me if the bots are deployed by TM partners and that is why they end up on the secondary market. TM does not seem to care so perhaps there is a benefit.

I mentioned it in the thread that was closed. They could make 10C tickets use 2FA or issue a QR code to 10C members that’s required when using tickets. Will it stop scalping completely? Probably not. Will it make it a big enough pain in the ass to deter most of it? Probably. I don’t care about the PJ premium or tickets sold during the general sale. Let the universe deal with that. 10C tickets should be for 10C members. I don’t think that’s a big ask.

Agreed that there are scalpers in 10c but the ticket recipient would have to be in 10c too. Basically my theoretical, will never be implemented system would require proof of 10c with a 2FA to use a 10c ticket. A Txt, a membership card, something. Sent us all into designate lines if you have too. If they hadn’t gotten rid of the app years ago it would be the perfect avenue. Never going to happen.
This has been there for a while. Beware that if you try to buy them, TM will charge your credit card but not actually allow the purchase. Fortunately I've already been credited the amount back, but still super annoying.

The following “Standard” tickets will be released by Ticketmaster at face value: - seats currently inactive but in queue to be sold as Premium - seats currently believed to be behind the screen but after setup are revealed to be sellable - Industry holds
Additionally, original ticket purchasers will release tickets via Face Value Ticket Exchange. These tickets will be from all over the building. While all GAs were sold during the 10C sale, a few will inevitably be released by fans and show up for sale.
Missed out on FLA1 sec 113 last night around 730. Had it carted, spinning, but ultimately failed to close the deal. again.
Great you could at least cart it. Wonder how close you really were.
If a human scored it we would have heard something I bet.
Also i am curious have we seen any GA scores without using a link on here or social media? I have seen none.
I don’t think I have seen any GA scores without links. In 2023 I scored GAs on F2F for three different shows just by refreshing F2F - never mind all the ones Shza got the last few years. Those days seem to be over.

I also carted but got an error on the FL1 113’s last night as well as on a pretty good NASH1 pair. The 113’s were the worst seats in 113 but they were in the building.

Just tried to coordinate a drop with someone for a pair of tickets. Broke them up into two singles just in case that helped things a bit. The first one got stuck for about 5 minutes after the link went live and couldn’t get it. The second one went live as soon as the link did, no problem purchasing it before it was even live on the site.
