The agreement I had for Pitt 2 fell through. So, on the prowl for Pitt 2 again 🙃
Ugh, frustrating. I was lucky to have one come through. It takes a little coordination, so if you have tickets to release please try to sync up with one of the several of us in here looking for tix. With that still looking for N1.
Just missed this pair - let’s see if the bots got ‘em.
No way of knowing for sure but there are two tickets listed on Vivid section 105, row Z, $374 ea. Also 2 on SH in that SECTION listed for $1626 ea (no idea what row). Lastly, 2 on SeatGeek, section 105 row Z for $509 ea. Really wish they’d tell us seat numbers…that would OBVIOUSLY help tremendously in this endeavor to catch them in the act.
This might not be the most popular idea, but given that the scalpers/bots have clearly ruined F2F, maybe the answer here is for 10c to simply will call all of the 10c tickets for this tour. Thoughts?

I wasn’t around to experience it but does anyone remember how it went in the early 2000s when you had to pick up tickets during the block seating era?

All 10c tickets were physical tickets that you had to pick up at will call. You didn’t know your seat location in advance. From what I remember, for at least some of the shows, the time that you showed up at the box office dictated how good the seats that you received were within your block. But I didn’t go to as many shows back then, so maybe someone else can shed some more light on this.

I’d be down for all 10c seats going back to physical tickets and they need to be picked up by the person who won them in the lottery or the account holder who bought them on f2f. I don’t know how easy it is to change account names on TM but regardless it’s basically the same amount of work as sharing TM login info. When that was the only way to scalp tickets before the barcode hack f2f was still winnable so maybe the extra steps would deter a lot of the brokers.
Just allow transfers to 10c emails. It’s not hard. Any email that entered the lottery through TM should be able to send or receive tickets. Call it 10c transferability. All other tickets (public, premium, etc) can be fully transferable.

That’s similar to what I was thinking. You keep F2F turned on, but the tickets need to be picked up by showing ID at the box office by the last person to purchase them (with a cutoff date/time like 24 hours before the show or something like that to give the venue enough time to print out the envelopes/tickets). Is it a complete fix? No. I’m sure scalpers could still pick up the tickets themselves at the box office or maybe find a way to change the TM account info to the purchaser. But it would be a lot harder and would involve a lot more effort, which would hopefully deter some of the scalpers from participating and make F2F viable again.

But they can generate the mobile barcodes, the tickets don’t need to be transferred because they’re shared. They just need one or a couple of 10c accounts and they’re good to horde as many f2f tickets as they want. They probably already have 10c accounts.

There’s always going to be a work around. Just give us the opportunity to transfer to someone on this forum. If that means full transferable again, then so be it. Jack White was non-transferable for his smaller venue tour, and then made them all transferable for the “larger” tour. PJ could do the same. It’s just insane that we have to share account passwords and risk security in order to guarantee tickets to fans. We are finding work arounds just like the third party sites

Someone must have got buyers remorse on those Pitt 2 tix. Can’t imagine those selling again for 1k. Either that or it’s a held back TM pair that they are pushing out as verified fan.

I've said that numerous times about $900+ tickets for Nashville, only to find them gone again a short time later. Apparently, we both underestimate the amount of people who are willing to shell out $2k for a pair of concert tickets.
