    it is, real, yes, from a local business just down the street. we get it there every year and the kids love it that their dad looks like a lumberjack carrying it home over his head

    This is my favorite Christmas ornament. My Mom got into ceramics back in the 70’s when I was a kid. She made this tree. I have always loved it. When she passed away, my Dad gave it to me because he knew how much it meant to me. Christmas was my Mom’s favorite time of the year and she would decorate the whole house. When I look at it, it reminds me of her and her love for Christmas.

    That’s awesome and yeah that’s why I keep my ornaments that are from my mom and mom in law who have passed away they have a really special emotional connection to them! Merry Christmas to you and loved ones

    I liked the ones we had when I was a kid from the 80’s. Although they were probably from the 70’s I’m guessing? They looked pretty cool. I think my sister has them now. Will have to find an old picture of them. 

    Don’t really have many now since I live by myself and don’t get a tree. 😕
