Hi any idea when Artist Presale emails go out? If we are selected...
you do not have to be selected if you signed up. its a new format
OMG really? It's gonna be a shit show at 10 AM then... But we did have to pick which shows or show we wanted to go to..?
yeah, it was a max limit of 5 shows
So no links or "enter code"? Hmmmm.....
They did actually state they'll be sending out links at some point today, but it's unclear if they'll be any different from the show links that are right on Ticketmaster. They didn't suggest any kind of selection process and they definitely state no code is needed.
"access is tied to your account"
Right. Meaning you had to sign up for it. That doesn't at all imply that they are only selecting random accounts to have access like they did with Verified Fan.
I wonder if Verified Fan is better or worse than what will happen tomorrow...
If you would have been selected for VF, this is worse. If not, this is better.

I believe I was blacklisted from VF about 7 years ago. I used to get selected for every single one I entered. Since then, I have been declined for every single one I entered (PJ or otherwise).

If anything has been learned over the last few years, if you want to go to a show, you'll be able to get tickets one or another. Sure, it's nice knowing weeks, months in advance, but maybe except for New York or Philly, it's pretty easy to land tickets a week or just days before a show.
I went 1 for 3 in the lottery this time. I've maybe not gotten tickets 2 or 3 times in the last 14ish years so I have nothing to complain about. Band needs to tour more, meaning more dates each leg. It's that simple. It won't happen and there's Premium tickets taking up what would be 10C seats, so now it's truly a dog eat dog world out there.

I'm so beyond pleased they're handing out seat assignments... today... so that 90% of the people who actually got seats during the 10C lottery who think "I can do better" will be online trying for "better" seats tomorrow while everyone else who actually didn't actually get seats, at all, will be trying to just get in the door. Lovely.
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
How many people put in for Raleigh? How many won? It would not be that difficult to give us that info. Also give me a heads up if something was flagged on my account or my wife's that prevented us from getting tickets.
Tell us how the lotto works. Do they in fact do it show by show with GA being filled first like they did in the past and then RES or are they really picking a request number and giving everyone everything they want and the people that are on the backside of that number will end up with nothing.
They took priority away from us they took odds away from us they took GA only away from us and now we need to just put our faith its a fair system. Those things I just mentioned helped us prove the lotto was fairly done. Now we have nothing. Pretty frustrating to be honest.
They messed up priority bad in 2023. We were able to catch it as fans on this board and 10C made the change and redid the lotto which was a great thing to do. It was still messed up but at least they tried. Now we just take whatever they give us and people just say its a lotto what do you expect. I expect to win at least one RES for Raleigh out of 4 tries. There is no way the demand for that show is so great I would miss out on it that many times based of previous demand for these shows. I just dont believe it.
If I am wrong and the demand was there enough to have me miss all 4 shows then they have broken the lotto allowing people put in for shows that have no desire to even go to gambling on GA and just having fan to fan to throw the tickets back to. I dont expect a response from 10C on this but it does not take a rocket scientist to see this is a broken system for some fans.
I have ONE account only. Got shut out, 0/4 on my choices. First time I have ever not gotten at least 1 ticket in the 10c lottery. It seems like again TM picks a person and fills all of their requests that are available, then moves on to the next person, rather than drawing each show separately from the whole pool of submissions. I'm sure its not as simple as that, but this seems to be the major factor in the selection process. Otherwise it would not be possible to have the extreme disparity among winners and losers to generate 8/8 vs 0/8 fulfillment rate on the SAME shows.
This could be the same way it was done last year, but I was one of the fortunate ones who got most of my choices (except MSG, of course), and this year got the other end of the stick. Regardless, its not a system that produces an equal opportunity for all entrants, which is the point of a lottery.
**I do not believe this TM model at all produces PJ's intent to "spread the wealth" somewhat equitably, that was shown when 10c ran the lottery**.
I don't know how much PJ can do to make TM modify their selection process, but pressure needs to be applied. Somehow, some of the layers/filters/parameters that 10c used to use, need to be incorporated into TM's process.
I know there are always disappointments involved in lottery results, but this is different. There is something wrong here! I hope it can be modified for the future.
Hollywood 2: 113, Row F Atlanta 1: 106, Row V Atlanta 2: 121, Row W
Honestly just happy to be in the building for Hollywood, and still need night 1.
But as far as arena shows go (Atlanta), I'm pretty sure these are the worst seats I've gotten from 10c since they started doing lotteries. That's not to say they're terrible seats or that I'm ungrateful... just that there either appears to be a shift in the balance of 10c allocation vs TM... or the function assigning seats has a different subjective measure of "best to worst" than it used to. 🤷♂️
Either way, there's always F2F! Can't wait for April!
Anyone have any tips/tricks to quickly make a transaction/get in/out?
Things I've found to be true. If anybody has reason to dispute these, please share:
1. Availability updates closer to real-time on mobile than on desktop. With people checking out quickly, you're less likely to get "Those seats are no longer available" if you're on a mobile device.
2. If you want the best seats available, know which sections you're ok with and use the list, NOT the map. Whether on Desktop or Mobile, you have worse odds of actually carting seats if you're trying to click on and add them one at a time.
3. If you're feeling brave, don't rush... stare at the page. Wait for seats from people who got in before you to recycle. Some people change their minds, some transactions fail... those seats reappear after the session timeout ends. If you're lucky, you can catch something that had been selected ~10 minutes earlier.

Once you cart you have 8 minutes or so to complete. Pick something and just keep trying if you cant cart.
Thanks! When do they start letting folks into the lobby? If I recall, it's about 30 mins prior.
It's usually about 15 minutes. But they claim the order they let you in is randomized.
I would start refreshing the lobby 1 hour in advance of the sale.... Oasis was 50min, Foo Fighters was 35min, PJ last year was 10 min.. over over the map..

No. You can't be logged into the same account from two different devices. They will not let you do that. Also, do not refresh the page too fast or too often or you will be flagged as a bot.
I lied one last question - artist presale... anyone who entered their email is eligible OR are you actually put into a separate lottery (as TM has done in the past) and you'll only get an email with a password if your email is selected?
Thanks folks!!!

It might be possible if you're trying for two different events. The same show, you wouldn't be able to be in the queue more than once.
