Look at hotels in Antioch,TN. It's about a 15 minute drive to downtown. Hotels are nice and affordable.
    Thanks!

What's the hotel situation looking like (Nashville) for those already securing rooms?
We booked this. Cheapest we could find within a 30 minute walk. Doesn't look bad at all.

Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium

Now all we need is tix to the two shows.

Na, you'll be fine.  I'm a 533xxx number and for the 22' Nashville show my 10c seats were in the lower bowl in the corner. Section 119.
Same here...532xxx number and my Nashville tickets were in Sec 119. But it goes w/o saying that those seats were assigned back in 2020, when TicketsToday ran the lottery, GA Pit and Reserved were separate levels, and you could still see percentages of requests for a particular show (getting GA Pit had a 21% chance, while Reserved had a 99% chance when I submitted my request).

Now that TM is running the show exclusively, who knows what's going on behind the wizard's curtain.

I’ve stayed there, it’s good but I prefer Holiday Inn West End Vanderbilt. They have a shuttle and a cheap uber. Great bars near by.

Amazing what happens when you keep looking. The property right next to the Comfort Inn is cheaper today than the Comfort Inn. So we moved our reservations. 3 star hotel instead of 2 star and the recent reviews are soooo much better. That's the La Quinta Inn & Suites.

I put in for both nights.  Will be driving from Atlanta.  No hotels for me.  Will drive home after each show.  I drove home after the show in 2022 and after loosing an hour I got home about 4 AM.  In the past eight years the 2022 show in Nashville is the only show that has been a reasonable driving distance for me.
    00 - Atlanta                                            10 - MSG I&2
    03 - Birmingham, Atlanta                       22 - L̶a̶s̶ ̶V̶e̶g̶a̶s̶, Camden, Nashville
    04 - Asheville, Kissimmee                     23 -  Ft Worth 2
    08 - Tampa, Columbia                           24 -  Philadelphia 1&2, Baltimore
    09 - Atlanta 1&2 (EV)                             25 - Atlanta 1&2, Nashville 1&2, Raleigh 2, Pittsburgh 2

I am just going through some fomo here.  There’s no “code” required for 10C right?  Just sign in and pick the shows you want the presale tickets for, then wait for confirmation?

The general presale is next Friday, for those that get skunked right?

Nashville is our spot this year… I’m going to try for Florida (long shot I know) and also Pitt GA, as a backup if FL doesn’t happen…. But the mrs. & I are definitely planning on being in Nashville for these two shows.
Is it worth the extra $100 to stay downtown, two blocks from the arena? (As opposed to the Drift, a mile away / across the river)
we’ve never been… I’m looking forward to the going to the Gibson garage, and checking out 3rd Man Records among other places (I assume the latter has a store at least),

We went to Nashville in 2022 to see Pearl Jam and we stayed like a 10 minute walk from the arena.  It was really convenient to all the nightlife and restaurants.   To us it was worth the extra money to have everything within walking distance.

I am planning to stay the whole week and check Nashville out in a little more depth. Everything I am reading says Five Points is the happening area for bars, restaurants, coffee shops. Can a local comment if that is a good plan? I don't mind a long walk to/from the arena for the shows.

  • In for both nights - flights from/back to London booked, and hotel booked also (Virgin Hotel).  So if I don't get tickets I will first shout at the sky, and then be tapping everyone on her up  ;)

Wow, daily non-stops to London and Dublin. I have an Irish friend who might come and I would never have guessed they love their country vibe this much.

I'm not a local but have been there multiple times. To me, Broadway is the place to frequent but the area you mentioned might not be a bad place to stay if you will be there multiple nights. Could uber to the pedestrian bridge and walk a bit to save time and uber fees I bet.

Hotels west of the river are expensive so that might be a good spot.

As a local, I can attest to the affordable part..as for nice and safe, I would push out to Smyrna a couple of exits up for a much safer place personally.

Putting my two cents, the five points/east nasty area is the young, hip area with all the vibes therein. Great bars, clubs, etc. and away from the touristy honky tonks if that's not your thing. It's a bit of a walk, but doable if in shape and motivated. There is a lot of construction for the new Titans stadium, so some walking distances might be impacted by that. But, it's an easy Uber across the river and there should be plenty of Air B&Bs in that area as well if that's your jam.

To be fair, it all depends on the vibe that you're looking for. If you want to be in the middle of it all and walk everywhere and don't mind senseless bachelorette parties, then downtown is worth the extra money. If you're into the hip vibe, not so much honky tonk, I'd lean more for East Nash/Five Points area. If you're into a more upscale, non-honky tonk area, then west end/Vandy is great for you. Anywhere in the burbs (Goodlettsville, Smyrna) and commuting into downtown is also good for those looking for an ability to escape for a bit.

Reach out if anyone wants more in-depth recs...

I did Party Fowl a few years ago for chicken. Any other decent food spots?

I also did the moonshine tasting not too far from the arena. Was fun.

Staying at the La Quinta Inn by the football stadium. We are walking. Would it be safer after the show to take Woodland Street over the river or is the pedestrian bridge to the south of the stadium okay to take after the show?

  • I’m a local.  It all depends on what things and sites you want to do and see.  The country music all of fame is great and the new National African American Music Musician.  Yes five points and East Nashville cool areas.  You can also take a day to drive over an hour if you want to do Jack Daniels tour well worth the drive.
