so update me on what to do in Pittsburgh on the Saturday between shows....I know there is that pierogi festival but what else?

I couldn't find any obvious concerts or baseball games, etc.

I've never been to Pittsburgh before so I'm clueless

I've mentioned this earlier, but I was looking at going to Kennywood on Saturday in-between shows.

Will wear a PJ shirt to see if anyone else is doing the same thing that day.

Kennywood is a good idea, not a far drive from the city and a nice way to spend the day. There is also Sandcastle (water park), if you would rather do that.

The Heinz History Center is a nice museum, and located in the Strip District, which has plenty of food selections around, along with the Terminal (a newer renovated area with indoor mini golf, food, bar/restaurants, ect).

Within the museum realm, the Warhol is good. There is also The Mattress Factory (art museum, North Side). Also have the Carnegie Natural History Museum (Pitt campus). And the Museum of Illusions (North Side)

There are also guided Segway tours of the city. I’ve never done it but a good way to get a guided tour of the city.

Plenty of golf courses around the area, and plenty of places to go find a nice hiking trail. All within reasonable distances from the city.

If the Pirates had a game, I’d highly suggest that. Not for the actual team, but the ballpark is fantastic.

Any particular questions, feel free to ask and I’ll try to reply timely.

Either way, we got two shows here! Going to be awesome! Enjoy your time

Yep, the Tunderbolt, Jack Rabbit and The Racer are the old classic wooden ones. Newer, Phantoms Revenge, Steel Curtin (not sure if it’s back up running yet). Another smaller newer one as you walk into the park. But Kennywood is more of a “old time” park, compared to Ceded Point/Six Flags/ect. The park was much better when I was younger, became way too corporate over the years. Still enjoyable though.

Yeah, it looks like Steel Curtain is back this year.
    Phantoms Revenge looks amazing.

If you go to Kennywood, be sure to get some fries from The Potato Patch.

I'm not a big fan of fries, but I have been reading good things about them, so I may have to give them a try.

For those that have been to concerts at PPG, what is this shaded square in 113?

We’re in the row right above it for N2, and just curious if that’s seats yet to be released or ???

Thanks @SHZA, I figured it might be something like that.
  • My wife and I are driving into town the day of the night 1 show and probably going to be late for merch. Is anyone willing to grab me an extra poster, sticker, pin and token (and license plate if they are gonna have them)? I can meet you somewhere after the show or the next day. I can either pay you for them or pick up merch for you if you are going to Atlanta or night 1 of Nashville and don’t want to wait in line one of those days. Thanks in advance!
