Yeah I also watched Pitt tickets sell out in real time.  I prob could have bought uppers the day of the public sale but I miscalculated and passed thinking I would be able to have more success with F2F like I did multiple times for Seattle last year.  I also didn’t think Pittsburgh had the market to sell out 2 shows as I’ve never had this much difficulty in getting a Pitt ticket in the last 25 years but I didn’t factor in that these would be the shows that all of the upper east coasters would target.  So all of the demand that you normally see for NYC, Philly, Baltimore, DC are all targeting Pitt especially since it’s over a weekend.  I do think there will be some ticket drops closer to the show dates but I don’t think it will be full sections of uppers like Atl and Nash.

The front rows of the uppers were for fan club were they not?
Possibly, but again, lets not act like Pittsburgh, PA is some Mecca for concerts.  Nashville has more than twice the population, is one of the entertainment capitals of the world, and is booming with tourists 365 days of the year.  Yes, months after these shows went on sale, 25% of the arena in Nashville remains unsold at face value.  I am not saying Pitt has poor demand, and it does have the weekend going for it, but there's no way in hell they sold the entire arena for both shows in an instant and every "Premium"/garbage ticket for $1000 sold too.  They are playing games with every show.  There will be a ticket dump for Pitt, just wait and see.
Pittsburgh metro population is 2.45 million to Nashville metro population 2.1 million.

  • Any Canadians considering cancelling their trip down? I have N1 tickets and the continuous rhetoric from Trump about making us the 51st state and the implementation of tariffs are really making me reconsider this trip. Anyone else?

My advice to everyone north of the border is hold tight for the time being. At this point, we don’t know how long the tariffs are going to be in effect for. We’re only a little over a week into the Trump administration and within a matter of days, the administration has already promulgated and then either subsequently rescinded or had enjoined by the courts several major policy initiatives (e.g., rescinding birthright citizenship, freezing federal grants/spending, etc.). I suspect we’re seeing the beginning of a pattern here. So I say hold tight for now. But having said that, if anyone is planning on dropping any GAs for N1, please lmk!

I SUPPORT CANADA against this tyrant down here. Glad to see them booing the anthem at sporting events. I'd gladly buy your night 1 tickets if you change your mind.

I plan on coming down. Yes the tariffs suck, but it's the piss poor dollar that is the main thing for me. I'm still looking for N1 tickets. Hotel will be a killer. Cancelling is not a option, unless it is. No time to worry just yet.

The CAD just hit its lowest level against the USD since 2003, and is not far off the all time low of 61 cents per US dollar.  Absolutely brutal for Canadians travelling to shows.  Glad to have locked in an Airbnb early.

If PJ does in fact announce some Canadian shows in the next month or so, I think some Canadians will be ditching their Pitt tix and trying to hit a couple Canadian shows instead.  Between Trump rhetoric and actions taken, tariffs and the dollar, disincentive is high if there is a non US option.

It is hard to describe to our US friends how upset and angry Trump's take over musings and tariffs have made most Canadians.  No good can come to the world from the US alienating itself from the rest of the world.

It doesn’t make me happy as an American either. It’s embarrassing and worrisome. For what it’s worth (I know not much) there are a lot us south of your border that don’t won’t this for us OR for you. ♥️🇨🇦🍁☮️

As a Californian (won't be American until that stain on the world is gone)....It upsets some of us more. Musk had our private information and social security numbers and we don't know what they'll do. I'm with you Canada... he is alienating us.  I don't think any of us blame you.

I think most of us understand. I'm disgusted as well. This is going to be a long 4 years. Or at least 2 years until midterms.

On a less important note. So I nabbed GA for Pitt 1 and have been watching for Pitt 2. Wow tickets never show up. I saw a pair once, and they were long gone by the time I saw them. I've probably checked 20-50 times a day since the ten club lottery.

Yeah you're probably right. Thought I did just see a pair in section 106...but gone when I tried. It seems like the pairs linger there for 5 minutes or so after being bought.

Aagghh! I was on TM from 2:30-3 am, between 4 shows. Never got in for Pitt at all, just the sold out screen, each time.

I know it will be better later, but seeing so many getting their tix lined up now makes me feel like I'm not doing enough, if I don't at least try.
Its harder when you get zero in the lottery, and have nothing to trade. (I do have a spare GA Jack White ticket for LA2 5/13/25, but no PJ)
So, still looking for one single for Pitt 1 and Pitt 2.

    Cheers and happy hunting!

It will likely improve over time, but if I can at least get in the door now, I’ll at least feel a little better about the whole thing.  After that I can then focus on upgrades and won’t have to try for every single opportunity.

I’m officially in night 1! I can’t say how I got tickets but I’m in the doors. Yes!!!!!!!!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

We are staying in a condo that is also connected to Marriott right across street. You only have cross street and walk a little up sidewalk to front doors of arena.

I am pretty sure the Doubletree is sold out.   I tried to get a room there pretty early on and there weren't any rooms.  I am staying at

EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown by IHG
