I also believe for PJ Premium ticket master gets a cut on each resale which is more profit without having to do anything.
As discussed here previously, the biggest problem with the current system is the fact that by restricting the resale, they are causing platinum buyers who for one reason or another decide to sell their tickets, to take the full loss on their purchase because TM does not allow for tickets to be sold for less than you paid for them. So as we have seen many times, person A buys a $750 platinum ticket and then the market drops. The only way to sell that ticket would be to drop the price, which is impossible. To make matters much worse, TM then also starts dropping many tickets at the lower pricing. If they would just fix that, the system would be about as good as it can get but until they do, it is blatantly unfair.

You all see what is happening. 10C seats moved back. Maybe even fewer 10C seats in total. Then TM controls the ticketing for the rest of the venue. If you actually got a decent face value ticket through a TM sale, consider yourself lucky. Any good seats are part of the dynamic pricing strategy. And yes, this probably means more money for the band and it is likely embedded in the negotiations.

10c seats for this tour look pretty good, IMO.

I don't even remember the last time I got tickets during a presale or on-sale for an arena or stadium show, and I go to a lot of concerts. I always just buy them later.

You are right. The fix is in. It has been years since TM actually sold good tickets at face value.
  • Are these tickets transferable at face value like previous tours? I have 5/1 tickets in atl and realized I may not be able to go. TM says they can’t be resold.

You'll be able to try to sell them on TM thru Fan-2-Fan in a few months, at face value, not able to pick your buyer

  • Anyone else think we should all combine our 10c forces and just start our own ticketing agency that specifically handles PJ?   B)

Nicely done to score in the presales today
  • $974 for a ticket!!! We had tickets for London last summer. Was to take daughter to her first gig, got cancelled. She was devastated. Decided to save up for next tour and surprise her with tickets. Missed out on 10 club ballet and then was 2200 in queue on artist presale. For our family it was $3800 for 4 tickets in standard seats. How can that be right? Couldn’t afford them. Hard not to feel the band could actually do more with that. If they only want fans who can afford 974 for a ticket then good luck to them. Poor reflection on the organisation.

Tix were as cheap as $99 and many here scored tix in the $175 to $185 range. Yes $974 is ridiculous and like many others have said (there's a whole thread about not paying premium) opportunities will come after the initial demand dies down.

100%. I have a pretty high # in the 600s and landed lower bowl for Nashville 2. Super grateful for 10C.

You liked this comment so much you made it twice, eh?

Not from the ticket price. That all goes to the artist. They do get to collect a higher fee because it's usually a percentage of the ticket price because it costs them more to process a $185 ticket and a $800 ticket. :dizzy:

got pitt side 115 sunday show
I had sides in section 121 in my cart and then decided not to get them. I will try my luck on F2F. Those were too extreme on the sides for me.

Those are good tix.  Just sat in that section for DMB
    That's the Section I grabbed.

I've sat there for a few Pearl Jam shows, and I like them.
