  • Great to see those guys playing music together again. That setlist had some tough songs to sing, I thought she did well. 🤷‍♂️

I'll give it another shot. Definitely admire the singer's enthusiasm. Plus listening to a recording on my phone might be a little different than being there live :/

Surprised that she wasn't injured. Didn't seem like they even slowed the momentum much

Ouch.  Shouldn't have done the stage dive.  Her voice isn't bad but I don't think it's the right fit.

Who did you like the most out of the three female singers that's worked with them. Brandi Carlile, Taylor Momsen, or Shania Shephard?

Watched most of it. It got a bit better. Why is Duff muted? Yes that trust fall should have been planned or something. Felt bad for all involved. Would be good if they do a mini tour with a few singers. I'd go to ask aka harass MC for an autograph/stix. Maybe score a couple picks.

I can't believe I never thought to ask him for a stick or anything in 95 when I met him backstage at an SG show. And of course, no cameras back then. I didn't even ask him to sign my backstage pass! d'oh!

Brandi probably but I can't really envision her doing the screaming parts like on Beyond the Wheel

Yes! Great story too. Back then I wouldn't have thought about that either. My obsession with this stuff is kind of new in the cosmic scale of my lifetime

I thought Taylor Momsen did a good job when she joined them at the Chris Cornell Tribute (I Am The Highway) in 2019. She had both the range and the "edge" for the songs she was part of.
Brandi is a fine vocalist, but sang on less agressive songs IIRC.

Few men have Chris's vocal range.

Brandi would be the best fit but she's too big on her own to just be in Soundgarden 2.0. I think because of that Taylor makes the most sense and she clearly loves Chris/the band.

they should absolutely 100 fucking percent tour with Taylor. Just call it Nudedragons so the actual dragon doesn't sue them. I'd go see that in a heartbeat.

  • Those guys are absolute legends and this singer looks, sounds, and acts like amateur hour karaoke... wow. That was bad
