I heard both posters were sold out hours before the show. With people allowed to buy 2 of each posters That’s a bit surprising for a huge stadium show that they didn’t have a massive print run?
Wow no Upper Hand, Setting Sun, Waiting For Stevie.
Already bailing on the new stuff. The set lists since the Leg 1 US tour have been pretty bland.
Upper Hand and Setting Sun are so good.

I think the fact they haven’t been here for 10 years and playing large stadiums means we’re getting less diversity in the sets and more hits. Each show is getting some gems, tonight it was Garden, In My Tree, Inside Job.

Yeah. I’ll be the one to say it and then get yelled at for “not being appreciative”…. But these first 4 AUS/NZ shows have basically been 2010s PJ Festival set lists

I am really glad I went to the Leg 1 shows and Ohana. There really hasn't been anything I've seen at any of the other shows where I feel like I missed out on something unexpected or novel, aside from the generally high level of enjoyment I would get from any show.

I felt the same in Dublin this year, had an absolute blast in the moment then saw the setlist picture on Instagram and realised there wasn’t really any surprises at all. But for these huge crowd shows it’s understandable to belt out the hits and singalongs

this shouldn’t surprise anyone. These are massive venues and they have been away so long. A Philly setlist would go over like a lead balloon down here.
At this point no one is asking for super rarities. Cropduster, Insignificance, Marker, Faithful instead of Why Go every show. If the crowd doesn’t like it who cares. DMB mixes up their sets and people keep coming

I'm still sad insignificance was scratched off Philly when I was there.
@dimitrispearljam I was standing down the back of GC just near you and the sound desk. hope you had a great first show in Melbourne. I walked out just behind you also. I should’ve come to introduce myself. Enjoy the rest of the tour down under.
I get all these comments about the set list, but I haven’t been able to see a Pearl Jam show in Australia for 10 years! Anything is better than nothing, I just wanted to hear at least something from Gigaton. But the fact I got Garden made it worthwhile. Hoping for something a bit more varied on Monday, but will be happy with anything.
Melbourne:
March 17 1995,
March 18 1995,
March 2 1998,
February 18 2003, November 13 2006, November 20 2009,
January 24 2014, November 16 2024, November 18 2024. Sydney: November 21 2024, November 23 2024

I was also standing at the back of GC near the mixing desk on Stone’s side.

Yep, that’s where I was. Must have been near one another. I was in a green and gold Aussie shirt and was with my sister. I was near a guy who went down with a knee or ankle injury. He needed the green whistle and was taken out on a wheelchair about 15mins before the show.
