Same as every year. Full size reese's. Truthfully I buy them for me. Maybe 5 kids this year. All very early and very young. I am amazed more kids do not come to our complex. Hit 30 townhouses in about 20 mins. Big score. We threw the apples at the houses that gave out fruit. EDIT: back in the day!

I don’t think we had a single kid this year. I had a couple bags of reeces cups (the big cups) I was going to give out in person. Then a bag of the cheap candy I leave out when we drive to the haunted house. I figured if I left the reeces some kids would take them all.
didnt get a single one in person, and the bowl looked untouched when I came back. We had a decent amount last year, it’s weird.

That is a shame. Especially when you say they showed up last year.

It's always such a good night looking at the beautiful homes and chatting up the neighbors and having a good walk and seeing the kids out all happy.

I wasn't home to give away my emergency stupid tattoos nobody is where I live we all have kids n head out.

The kids liked the slow areas with the big candy bars they caught on to that quick. the nice busy drag with all the people and lights smoke with hundreds of people only have little treats and one at a time because who knows how many come, right? anyways Pipsqueak is catching on...

The 1st kid knocks on the door.
I answer with my mask on.
The kid doesn't say a word, and looks terrified.
I give him some candy, he walks down the stairs, still silent.
His mom says....Well you didn't expect that, did you?

I scared the shit out of that kid. Hahahaha

We’re near the end of a dead-end street. We never got a ton of kids, but have always gotten at least a few dozen and would run out of 1 bag of candy giving out a handful to each kid and leaving the rest on the porch. It is weird we don’t get any this year.

It’s really fun. It’s just a local house where the owner goes all out with decorations and sets up a mini haunted house. It’s so popular the cops close the street and there’s probably 500 people in the street outside with about a dozen people dressed up really cool walking around scaring people.
My kids are 8 and 10. They were scared last year, but still like it.
Thisbyear my 10 year old was saying he was too scared and didn’t want to go in. My wife and i both thought he was faking it (he’s at a stage where he faked everything). We’re halfway through and he’s legit screaming with tears coming down.
He was freaking out with all the scary people waking around outside. Then he and his brother decided to wrestle on some grass and ended up getting a really bad bloody nose. One of the worst I’ve seen and soaked through his costume into his clothes. Walking back to the car he was crying, but the funny part is he was freaking out all the other little kids who saw all the real blood in the middle of all this chaos, and people with chainsaws.

We were part of our church's Trunk or Treat. I bought 4 large bags of the mixed candy at Costco and we have about half a bag left. We had a lot of kids stop by. The leftover candy is going to school with my wife to give to her teenagers. It will disappear quickly.

She looks like she is having fun! I love it when parents get dressed up too. My wife and I were wearing mustard and ketchup bottle costumes to pass out treats.

My leftover candy will exit the house at some point today. I'm being told my sister in law will bring it all to her work(hospital).
Sounds good, just get it out of my house! Haha

yeah I think we can donate to the local firehouse...they either dole it out to kids or send overseas to troops

    'me too. Great time.

Plus driving home it started sprinkling again and I noticed the rain stopped just enough for the kids to trick or treat. After school it was beautiful sunny with a downpour (very Halloweenish) and grey rain all day earlier.

She's a beauty, Beano, I love the long, beautiful hair. Good luck on your run. I'm glad you're keeping in shape for her.

Anyways my house is f****** haunted. I thought the ghost left me long ago.

    But no.

I'm in the bath, got a candle going, I'm listening to Montreal Rocks opening night YouTube boot of Dark Matter.  "Alive" is playing and the goddamn f****** ghost knocks the tiny little mp3 player off the counter scares the f*** out of me. (The thing vibrates, but there's a ghost story for you all.)

Night PJ ppl. C ya soon!
