From The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie, to the Harry Potter films, to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and many more, what an amazing talent.  One of my favorites.

My wife wanted to watch "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" tonight in honor of Maggie Smith, which we did, but there were times where I found it difficult. It's a great movie, for sure, and by the end, I was glad to see it again, but at first... oh man.  As old as she was, this was a tough loss.
I guess maybe I don't take these things in stride so well anymore.

And yes sad to see people go. That's why we try to learn to make the best of this ride we have.
    Fish, garden, write, draw. Whatever.

So well said, Loujoe.  I was thinking about that the other day.  I'm at that point in life where everyday begins slowly and with pain, and I sometimes rue the fact that springing out of bed in the AM with loads of energy is a thing of the past.  But then I stop my self pity negative thinking and remind myself that waking up everyday in of itself is a gift, and the way to go about the day- as you so well put it-  is to make the best of it.  Thank you for wise words!

I know it's easier said than done, but stay strong as much as you can, my friend.
