    Good morning, good Sir!

I guess some people will be happy to see where the set lists are created and others not so happy with the wrong question about if they like to tour.
I woke up on Sunday, enjoyed watching my favorite band, on one of my all time favorite shows. I had a nice cup of coffee, and am now packing for vacation.
    It's all good!

I guess this discussion wouldn't be complete without mentioning the buffalo album (I mean, Dark Matter) and of course the GO VOTE reason to tour!

The houses where I live are more than double the price. Dunno if you guys are worried about the half million mark.

Also worth noting: the interviewer pronounced Jeff's last name correctly and shut his mouth (mostly) so he could hear Ed answer questions, only feeding him a few words.

Thanks Jeff for Missoula's fan fair!
Thanks Ed for this glimpse into your private space.

    Rent? Not mortgage?
I have to ask, although I understand if you don't want to answer.

    Where do you live?
How big a rental unit? Rooms? Beds? Baths?
    Square footage?

That beautiful, intelligent, self-supporting woman lives in NYC. I think it's okay to answer for her because this is public forum knowledge, as is her fabulous story of partying with the band, way back when, before the band went to a more private space!

Happy packing and I hope you have a wonderful first retirement vacation, SPEEDY!

We don't have to worry about Eddie sitting around the hotel room in nothing but a dressing gown, waiting for his 2 onstage shirts he travels with to be laundered! I mean unless ya wanna...

All right, one (or two, or three) last thing (s) for me to add.

My favorite part, asides from seeing my favorite rock star duo, was EV mentioning how most songs start on a (cloth upgrade) napkin, explaining how he learned calligraphy as a time-passer on the road, and of course, likening song writing to riding a wave, in a most naturally beautifully poetic manner.

    And the vacuum silhouette.

Like Ed, my child has a -close to Christmas- birthday. Instead of combining gifts, (like hoping for an expensive $150 electric guitar) I buy her a piece of jewelry each year. This year she will pick out a belly button ring in Australia or New Zealand. I wonder if Ed and/or bandmates collect things like wine or art or jewelry everywhere they go...?

The British Columbia gov't recently raised the welfare rate for the accomodation portion of their cheque from $325 (which they held steady for three decades) to under $600 now. One bedroom rental rates are about the same as what the average Montana renter pays, $13xx

I can answer - it is rent. I live in downtown Manhattan. Two very small bedrooms, one bath. Not sure of the square footage - but definitely not a huge apartment. Unfortunately, I am not rent stabilized - but according to some real estate pros I am still paying under market value for my apartment for my neighborhood. I know my landlord is renting out similar apartments in my building for over $4000/month. It is crazy. I have lived in my building for a long time, so I am under that. But still pretty expensive.
