7 O'clock was the biggest disappointment though. Never really a great spot for it and just has the show come to a screeching halt waiting for it to finally finish.

When I saw it live the show didn't come to a screeching halt!
    Same!
7oclock,  Daugher, DOTC trio after Evenflow at MSG in 22 took a lot out of the crowd. They came back for Betterman though and the rest of the show.

Glad they played Alone!!! Such a killer song.
I admittedly was in the can for Daughter that night lol

People always talk about the crowd. The crowd consists mostly of people who aren't familiar with new songs or album tracks because they're older people who don't listen to new music anymore-- this is not a Pearl Jam-specific phenomenon; it's true of every veteran act. If I'm enjoying it, I don't even notice whether other people are not into it.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

    for stat nerds like myself:
    • Alone (scratched from N1) and Pendulum are both up to 49 performances. #50 for either is completely plausible.
    • In My Tree & Love Boat Captain are both primed at 99 performances. One more to #100 for these classics!
    • The great Nothingman is just chilling at 149 performances. #150 could be just around the corner.
    • Not For You is sitting comfortably at 249. Performance #250 is IMMINENT.
    • Porch stands at #649 performances. Almost a lock that tonight will mark #650.
    • If Lightning Bolt, or In Hiding (both at 98) get played tonight, they'll potentially hit #100 in Baltimore, or Fenway Park.
    • Philly N1 brought us the 850th performance of Alive. Tonight will most likely mark #851, the 2nd most played PJ song.
    • For the Disney Nerds: if Corduroy is played tonight, it'll be performance #626 (STITCH!)
    • For the Marvel Nerds: if Black is played tonight, it'll be performance #616, the main Marvel Universe (Fantastic!)
    • For the... "medicinal" crowd: if Animal is played, it'll be performance #420 :coffee:
    • If Wreckage is played again, it'll be the first Dark Matter song to hit 25 plays. The most of any track on the new record.
    • Other than the new record, Yield ruled Philly night one. Which PJ album will show up the most tonight?
    • Brain of J had it's tour debut on N1. What else might debut from the shadows tonight??
Now that is seriously productive hardcore research! Love it!!

It happens a lot. The whole "second night is usually better than first night" is not a thing. It's also completely subjective, obviously.

Mansfield 2000 is a good example of this as well as MSG 2003 being the biggest one.  It def happens.

Biggest one that comes to mind is Worcester 13.
    This year, LV 1 > LV 2
It happens a lot. The whole "second night is usually better than first night" is not a thing. It's also completely subjective, obviously.
Definitely subjective of course. Hell I have seen people say Fenway N1 2016 was better than N2.

    Not even close I say!

Will we get the typical tom petty worshiping from Ed as the first song of the encore?
