A. Better Man at 10 is awesome.BF25394 said:
Blasphemy. It was only on for six years and they were all incredible.CP218430 said:Justified was also great but kept on a few too many seasons. They did wrap it well though. We are on an FX kick.
B. That show peaked at Season 3 and kept it going at a phenomenal rate. Maybe, I just didn't love the revival.98: St. Louis. 2000: Alpine. 2003: Chicago. 2006: Chicago Night 2, Milwaukee Night 1. 2007: Chicago (Lolla). 2009: Chicago 1 & 2. 2011: Alpine 1 & 2. 2013: Chicago & LA Night 1. 2016: Chicago 1 & 2. 2018: Chicago 1 & 2.

I treat the whole thing like it's the Council of Nicaea & the Inter Gravissimas: we're all just spitballin' here, lol. In all things. Again, just here to have fun!BF25394 said:
The bigger problem is that the Stat Tracker is drawing from the setlists on this website, which are riddled with mistakes.TP31467 said:
Always funny when the die-hard fans rely on the stat tracking app to determine the amount of times songs are played … only not to realize how many secret shows for huge corporations, etc have been played and not included in these very accurate landmark “numbers played” milestones.Go Animal said:
Thank you! I love useless knowledge lol.Celticskemba8 said:
Wow nicely done!Go Animal said:for stat nerds like myself:- Alone (scratched from N1) and Pendulum are both up to 49 performances. #50 for either is completely plausible.
- In My Tree & Love Boat Captain are both primed at 99 performances. One more to #100 for these classics!
- The great Nothingman is just chilling at 149 performances. #150 could be just around the corner.
- Not For You is sitting comfortably at 249. Performance #250 is IMMINENT.
- Porch stands at #649 performances. Almost a lock that tonight will mark #650.
- If Lightning Bolt, or In Hiding (both at 98) get played tonight, they'll potentially hit #100 in Baltimore, or Fenway Park.
- Philly N1 brought us the 850th performance of Alive. Tonight will most likely mark #851, the 2nd most played PJ song.
- For the Disney Nerds: if Corduroy is played tonight, it'll be performance #626 (STITCH!)
- For the Marvel Nerds: if Black is played tonight, it'll be performance #616, the main Marvel Universe (Fantastic!)
- For the... "medicinal" crowd: if Animal is played, it'll be performance #420 :coffee:
- If Wreckage is played again, it'll be the first Dark Matter song to hit 25 plays. The most of any track on the new record.
- Other than the new record, Yield ruled Philly night one. Which PJ album will show up the most tonight?
- Brain of J had it's tour debut on N1. What else might debut from the shadows tonight??
Wreckage hits a QUICK 25, and the 100th In My Tree ever! (1996!)
To your point, there are also soundchecks and rehearsals. I don't think anyone really thinks the numbers are anything more than ballpark figures, especially for the songs that have been played a lot.

Oh, I thought you were saying the original show went on too long. I liked the reboot but it was tough to live up to the original series without (mostly) Boyd and the whole Kentucky cast of characters.CP218430 said:

I actually agree with your last point. It's just that I'd rather make room for the neglected albums by dropping some of the overplayed older songs instead of having less Dark Matter on the Dark Matter tour.iOnlyownMymind said:
I've seen your arguments for this and I disagree but it's all good. Maybe if I'd seen the Riot Act and Binaural tours I'd feel the same as you. Just tons of other songs in the catalog neglected now.BF25394 said:
There was a lot of variety among the non-Dark Matter tracks at the spring shows. They played 98 different songs, and that's accounting for the fact that one-third of the setlists were from the new album, as it should be since they're touring in support of it.iOnlyownMymind said:I saw Portland and Sacramento. The same eight DM tracks in the same slots was too much. Still had fun but it was 1/3 of the show the exact same plus a number of the same hits at both as well. I'd much prefer switching it up like these west coast shows.I gather speed from you fucking with me.0 -
