Historically, it’s rare for night 1 to be so much better than night 2

Mansfield 2000 is a good example of this as well as MSG 2003 being the biggest one.  It def happens.
Jones Beach Nights 2 and 3 in 2000 as well. It happens as often as it doesn't happen.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

    This year, LV 1 > LV 2
It happens a lot. The whole "second night is usually better than first night" is not a thing. It's also completely subjective, obviously.
Definitely subjective of course. Hell I have seen people say Fenway N1 2016 was better than N2.

    Not even close I say!
    Agreed on that one.

LV2 was probably my biggest bummer of a show besides seeing Philly 1 the other night compared to both MSGs

    Ed was sick night two.
Ya he was. We did pretty good job helping him out but even if he wasnt sick I would of been shocked if they topped N1.

I definitely felt that way, but it was very subjective. On Night 1, we were in the eighth row and unmolested. On Night 2, we were about 15 rows further back and the people next to us tried to sneak their friends into the row where they stood in front of us instead of their friends and yammered away until we physically removed them.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Fenway N2 2018 I had a similar bad experience. Def takes away from the show especially in a such a big venue.

I love Glen probably just as much as anyone on this forum. That said there is no time or room for Ed and Glen on these Pearl Jam sets especially after an Ed solo opening for the encore.

The greatest American rock band of all time
    You are correct, sir.
    In chronological order:

    The Beach Boys
    CCR
    The Band
    Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
    The Cars
    Van Halen
    Soundgarden
    Alice in Chains
    Nirvana
    Pearl Jam
    The Band is Canadian.

and you forgot Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, Aerosmith and GnR
He was thinking of Grand Funk Railroad...
    They’re from Flint…
    RIght... they're an American band.

I love Glen probably just as much as anyone on this forum. That said there is no time or room for Ed and Glen on these Pearl Jam sets especially after an Ed solo opening for the encore.
Mike havin' some chips, and Matt had to take a dump. Someone backstage spotted Stone at the craft table devouring the veggie tray. Jeff playing a quick game of HORSE.
