All kidding aside though, be safe and be well. This is pretty mild, thankfully.

Dude! I got it, too! Fuck! First time getting it, I wonder if it was that packed stairwell. Luckily mine is mild at the moment as well.

Hope you didn’t give if to the band and ruin the last 5 shows.  That would suck.  Hope it stays mild for ya

I got covid in STL 2022 as well then probably spread it to OKC before I realized I was sick, had to miss Denver.  although was able to avoid it last year at United Center 23.   Also avoided at Ohana 21 and Wrigley 24 (which was surprising we were on the trains and concourse were extremely crowded).  I think the strain this year is pretty contagious but is not putting as many people in the hospital.

That stinks. It wasn’t from me since I sold my ticket, which was heartbreaking but made a fan happy! Just tested negative so I’m on for both Philly shows and Baltimore. Folks who test positive need to stay home. The band needs to stay healthy for all of us!!

Only did MSG II but so far I feel fine so does my daughter! Knock on wood I’m not going to any of the remaining shows!

There is definitely a cold going around in NY. We all tested negative but my son has a bad cough from hanging in NYC and taking trains. We used to call it tour crud.
  • Tour crud?
I will go along with that.

Yep. Get that many people together and it happens. I used to get it once in a while when I went to multiple shows, traveling in trains, staying at hotels, partying more, and being tired. Good to see you and I hope you are not having it!

If all I come home from New York with is "Tour Crud"? Then I guess I should be thankful.

What the fuck is going on in New York City? Streets lined for miles with homeless, junkies, people with obvious mental health issues, garbage, filth.
I was just not expecting to see all that.

Well it is not as bad as it used to be. It is worse in California. But I will say, I have only been in NYC a few times since Covid. I only go for food and shows.

Glad yours is mild, and there were absolutely some packed quarters there lol. And kudos on holding out this long in getting it - this is either my 3rd or 4th time. On top of the vaccines, I'm hoping I'm pretty much beaten up by this virus and immune indefinitely.

I actually thought the streets looked cleaner and safer than the last time I was there for PJ ‘22 shows.

It was definitely way better than when I was there to see Bruce on Broadway in August ‘21. Holy shit, it was like zombie apocalypse with homeless laying in the middle of 5th ave and cops just walked right on by.

Hit me with a fuckin' quarter again and, fuck it, I'm outta here. We're all outta here. Fuck you, and if anyone sees someone throw fuckin' change right next to them, you have my permission to beat the fuckin' holy shit outta them."

Include me as another person coming back from MSG with this iteration of the rona. Had evaded it for 4 years with Barry Sanders-like jukes.

I lived in NYC until 3 years ago and I was just there for the MSG shows. Nothing there compares to what I’ve seen in Philly these few days lol. Junkies everywhere and they are aggressive and using on the street.

I got Covid from the Oakland 2022 shows.  It was fairly mild.  Super sore throat and the sniffles.  It cost me a camping trip, but I haven't had it again since.  I feel like it was the perfect strain to get, wasn't so bad, and seems to have boosted my immunity against the virus.

Plus those shows were epic, especially the first one :)

Covid is the least favorite souvenir I ever got at a PJ show.
