They announced the 1k drop this morning. With Blood Records it’s always a good idea to be ready for 6pm. Zoetrope picture discs are absolutely awful though.

Exactly, something isn't right.  10c members were expected to have an "exclusive 30 min window" as stated.  We did not get that.  I wonder how many 10c members actually got a copy?  2 or 3?

So there's about a total of 2 tenclub members who got this? ha, so stupid.  Should have been exclusive to 10c members where you have to enter a code to order, before before being released widely.  How hard is it to do that?

Wouldn't it be cool to get some information or weigh-in from a 10C person like @Santos L. Halper, @Kat, or @Rubysdad?  Would be kinda professional to at least come out with a statement - even if it's "We're looking into this."

The way this was handled that it screwed the people that got the e-mail - bad form. BUT...............

I read the e-mail at about 12:45 CDT so I was way past the window. I was bummed out for ~1 minute and then realized that I regretted buying the clear/black/10C red copies when the album was released after they announced the regional & RSD variants. It just screamed money-grab to me. 

I broke my knee back in June and couldn't attend the Wrigley or Philly shows and I'm actually ok with all of it. I'm saving a ton of money and I need to get rid of all this random merch that I've acquired.

We need to stop being lemmings people

If Blood is at fault I'd prefer the band doesn't do any further business with them.  If it turns out 10Cs fault, guess its time for lost dogs 2

You know how they can make this up??  A whole new variant, dedicated to the 10c, where we get a true exclusive 48 hour window to buy it!

It's too bad it went down the way it did, and I don't mean this as a criticism of anyone, but I don't expect anyone at Blood or 10c to care.  My guess is if they do anything, it will be a 2nd pressing of the album that looks totally different with a totally different run from Blood.

Not sure how much non UK fans are aware of Blood Records, but this was a standard drop for them. Usually at 6pm UK time (but on occasions in the morning). They always say on their Instagram stories. The artist is always unveiled at the time of the drop. They’ve released records for most of the world most popular artists in the last year or two (eg Coldplay, Green Day, QOTSA, Olivia Rodrigo, Kings of Leon, Oasis etc). Literally every new album (or major anniversary re-release) released in the U.K. gets a blood records version nowadays and I was really surprised they didn’t drop a version of Dark Matter back in the spring
