    Two things I can add here.
    1) Blood Records recently did one of these for Olivia Rodrigo w/ a 10K press and allowed for more than one to be ordered.
    2) They did a 12k press of Chapell Ronan within the month and emailed customers who ordered more than one letting them know they were canning the extras.

    and I think the band always sends the email right at 1p, it just does not hit until 5-7 minutes later

    One would expect this would be something anyone familiar with selling limited merch knows and, therefore, brings clauses into their agreements.  If 10C didn't bother with that.... yikes.

    Sounds like they're still in production (November ship date) so increasing it to 2k or 3k would be great.

    I clicked on the email link about a minute after receiving it. The page showed I think ~800 had been sold. I went through the checkout process via Paypal and clicked purchase. I then got bounced out as it said it was sold out, but when I refreshed the page only 998 had been sold. After refreshing one more time it said it was sold out with 1002 sold.
