I was not at the show in 2013... mine was from 2018 and the picture of the people under the bleachers, those were not refurbished until 2014-2015..

Yeah, 2018 (N2) was a cluster. The inner concourse was packed like sardines, and I lost my spot on the rail. However, once the storms passed and they came out on stage, it was heaven. Last I saw (for 8/29), thunderstorms in the morning/afternoon, and a chance of rain in the evening.
Ya this sucked. Was so hot and claustrophobic. Absolute bliss when the show started afterwards

I had a 200 level in 2018, just high enough to be covered by the upper deck.  Best seats in the house that night, that’s for sure!

Got it. The weather and delay was much worse in 2013.

  • Yeah, those of us in the pit got corralled behind the stage. Seeing this video again makes my blood boil. By the time we exited the inner concourse, the pit was already 2/3 full already. With hundreds of people storming into the pit from all angles, security did not have the manpower to check for bracelets. Those f***ers running through the reserved seats to get into the pit can eat a bag of..., well, you know. Sorry...still salty. Great show nonetheless!

Note to anyone with a good spot at Wrigley... never post something like this until the show's over. 99% certain I jinxed myself because a few minutes later we all cleared off the field. Luckily I got an okay spot on the mad dash back in.

I stayed on field as long as I could but finally got yelled at but I refused to go down in that scary anxiety inducing concourse so stood amd got poured on in stands for awhile before I found a place to stand under the roof lines.

Mad dash back to GA I was like..I'm gonna die here aren't I. Ha..that was my first GA experience but ended up not too bad on stones side and got killer photos

Man, being packed in like sardines in the narrow concourse of Wrigley with high humidity (I had been living in Vegas for the previous 16 months before that show) was absolutely miserable.  But that opening set of songs, GTF, Why Go, Go, Last Exit, was incredible.  Well worth the wait.

Lived in Vegas for seven years back in the late 90's...and yeah, it made me miss the "dry heat" being in that concourse. But you're right, the band knew what everyone had gone through, and came out rocking from the get-go. I probably bitch/complain too much regarding losing my original spot, but the more I think about it, Wrigley 2018 N2 was yet another scenario where "we're all in this together" :)

No concrete plans, just gonna go with the flow. Might go to a White Sox game. Gonna try to eat plenty of good food.

Oh there is plenty of good food here.
And I've had 2 heart surgeries to prove it!
    Haha

Best thing about the White Sox is, I am pretty sure they will pay YOU $20 to walk in that stadium.

Was at '13 and coming for this year's shows.  Outdoor show, long travel, and Chicago all equal rain.  I just want to be able to stay in my seat like before.  I don't ever see 3-hour downpours anymore and it was so refreshing.

Yeah other than standing in center field at Wrigley food is my priority. If you or @Vito have any recommendations I’m all ears🍴
