Too bad the band/10 club doesn’t do anything for milestone anniversary’s of dedicated fans. 30 years is an awesome achievement, well done.

Cheers! I wish I had joined 30 years ago but I was busy being 10 😝 but for real I’ve been a fan since then just not a fan club member, wish I had your fan club number ;)

This November will be my 31st year of renewing my membership! Congrats Joe even though TM has swallowed up our perk of the best seats in the house I’ll keep renewing to get a shot at tickets for the last tour that’s coming at some point!

It's still a low cost investment and I'm sticking with it

Been 30 years for me too  =)  Yeah that would be cool if they could do something for milestone anniversaries!!

I suppose I'm at 26 years now.  I sent it in late '97, but my start date was Jan '98.   Still got the x-mas single that year :)

That's a long time to keep renewing something :)

Indeed! Mine started in May '96. Ah those money order days. I was a little afraid of sending out those things in the mail, to another country.

Nice! I like it here just to post stuff, chase le merch., follow setlists, picks. Simple thrills I'm ok with.
Yes new ticketing stinks for those used to the older way.

Just realized I’m at 28 years - wow. Had a membership number assigned in ‘95 when I mailed in a fan letter and my membership was activated in February of ‘96. 131,XXX

    Great investment.

Keep in mind that PJ has signed off on the current seating distribution.
After 30+ years as a paying member I'm
probably done worrying about tickets after getting zero/zilch for a single American show which has never happened for me.
Will keep the membership but lose the stress over tickets.
Maybe stick to going to shows in Europe.

I'm really curious what our "real" numbers would be if they ever re- did it

I must have the same renewal date as the OP. I just re-joined for year 21 with no lapses. I'm really a member just for the ticket opportunities. I'd hoped by now I'd have REALLY good seats, but alas....

Auto-renew really crushed that dream. Not like the old days where it was on you to remember and cut a check. Many stoners were lost in that era.

I joined sometime in 98. 175XXX and am pleased with my MSG 2 seats (Sec 211 row A). Membership cost is less than the TM fees for most shows so I think it is still worth it. I do miss the mail order aspect of the fan club. It was cool to write checks and order stuff.

Yeah - I don't think Auto-renew is the big factor.
