My comments have much less to do with my own opinions than wonderment/frustration that Democrats struggle to field a candidate that can mop the floor with a +7 unfavorable goon
It's not the democrats fault that this country is riddled with backwards thinking and old white dudes who wish it was 1950 again. They have no chance courting the MAGA base and the rest claiming conservative and voting Trump are full of shit. Make your party pick a decent human being.
This country has only gotten (relatively) younger since it elected Barack Obama twice. "But they're not Trump" has a ceiling and Democrats need to figure out how to break through that.

The desire to make ageist/racist declarations ignores that this horribly old, white, regressive country has elected a Democrat President 3 of the last 4 times. Why it has to be a nail biter against a stooge with no upside is worth asking.

Our media, all forms, plays a large role in this. First thing I read this morning, front and center on ABC, was about massive fraud committed in MN under Walz... By a fake non-profit with no association to his administration. Which, it will probably turn out, is because conservatives took any bite out of the his admins regulatory powers.

The collective media wants a horse race in the name of "impartiality". They'll gives air to any conceivable criticism to get that horse race. Fox "news" is the only one that is purpose-driven in their messaging, and sadly their viewers are dumber for it.

I know it's a foreign concept, but media should be antagonistic to all politicians

But do you not like the answer that Trump is who a large number of people want for president no matter who he’s running against?

I agree, but that is hard to do when you have a cult of personality in the race.

That's true but that "large number" is nowhere near enough to carry a general election

Trump will never win the popular vote and most likely will lose by more than 7 (hopefully at least 10 this time) million votes, but that tricky electoral map can be a toss up in swing states. I'm hoping we see support continue to shift away from Trump in the swing states.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Guy says "Democrats should moderate" and I ask for details and he won't answer. So typical. I'm happy to provide details about why I'm a Democrat and what I stand for.

Also, he is not running for any office.
Well, wait until you hear what Kamala did to get where she’s at.
Be very careful to share that TRUTH on good old Kam Kam till it’s allowed.    Some of y’all Better start stocking up on some of those Orange Man Bad meds once it is.  I foresee loads of rotten brains jumping off buildings once the show starts and people are allowed to openly discuss certain things….The whole One cannot speak badly about the first Black Female Candidate will only last for so long…that honeymoon will be ending sooon…
Not speaking badly is vastly different than implying that a person got where they are through sexual favours, not that I would expect you to understand the most basic of nuance.
