After 9 years of Trumpism I’m starting to wonder.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

If you have a point to make, perhaps you could state it clearly so it can be discussed. I can infer what you probably mean, but you should have the opportunity to explain your position.
Now, now... can't have that. He'd have to have accountability & sound reasoning for that.

I've yet to hear any person alive make some actual sound reasoning for TFG.
Nope, it's all about trying to tear the other party down. Nothing positive to campaign on, just misery, whining, and pure divisiveness. And they're all f*cking weird.

"if you try to divide us, we'll divide ourselves from you."

In a perfect world, indeed. I wish that were enough. But since what the right is peddling is so cheap & easy to sell, sometimes we have to get a little dirty. But just a little ;)

Hardly. All you have to do is watch political commercials on local networks to know that's not even remotely true.

The majority of the left has been playing defense since Reagan.

Modern populist GOP political strategy relies on feeding into people's fears of things they don't understand, or find abhorrent to their idea of American life.

People of color are still marginalized when your candidate for president says things like Mexicans (all or some) are, quote:

"When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. […] They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. Their or [they are] rapists. And some (I assume) are good people?

Or my favorite: "I love the blacks!

And gay people, the entire spectrum of the LGBTQ community are marginalized by the religious right in America. Right now, that sub-sect is the only thing giving the GOP any sort of footing & they have to play into that.

If they could, the GOP would end same sex marriage. And let me tell you, the couples I know? Are way better parents & partners than some traditional couples.

And that scares the shit out of religious extremists.

Those are just a few examples of the left playing defense, and having said defense misconstrued as offense, or "both sides are bad".

They are not. They are not equal. And they are not 2 sides to the same coin.

The left, for all it's faults, is still the best option for equality, civil rights, environmental preservation, and embracing progress.

The right says a woman who has an abortion for any reason, is a murderer.

The right says that all social & civic services should be privatized (but really are just trying to get their donors a return on investment).

The right would have the U.S. looking and feeling like post-WWII America, and that's just not who we are anymore.

They realize that, and use fear & division to try keep things the way they were. Survival of the fittest, richest & whitest.

You can disagree on that, but "do as I say, not as I do" shows otherwise.

I would love for there to be a 3rd, 4th or 4th party candidate as a viable option, but no one since Ross Perot has had the balls (and the money) to really make a go at it since.

Anything else is a distraction & a ploy to sway the assumption of power away from a party that strives for true progress (i.e. Jill Stein/Green Party, the Libertarian party, etc.)

Don't let anyone tell you "both sides are just as bad". Because that's just not the case.
Shit, Go Animal! i could not have laid it out any better!.. thank you!  I've gone back and forth with supporting democrats, republicans, and independent 3rd party options my entire voting life.  These last 8 years have really clarified where each party's true values are rooted.  MAGA realy is about making America great for the White and privileged, which is exactly how this country started.  But what has actually made this country great is the diversity and the opportunity to everyone regardless of if they were born into privilege.

I know what would work for me, but have no idea if that extends to other winnable independents or if I'm an outlier. Your hope would be the campaign has professionals that can figure that out and they're willing to act on it.

My comments have much less to do with my own opinions than wonderment/frustration that Democrats struggle to field a candidate that can mop the floor with a +7 unfavorable goon
It's not the democrats fault that this country is riddled with backwards thinking and old white dudes who wish it was 1950 again. They have no chance courting the MAGA base and the rest claiming conservative and voting Trump are full of shit. Make your party pick a decent human being.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Also, he is not running for any office.
Well, wait until you hear what Kamala did to get where she’s at.
Be very careful to share that TRUTH on good old Kam Kam till it’s allowed.    Some of y’all Better start stocking up on some of those Orange Man Bad meds once it is.  I foresee loads of rotten brains jumping off buildings once the show starts and people are allowed to openly discuss certain things….The whole One cannot speak badly about the first Black Female Candidate will only last for so long…that honeymoon will be ending sooon…
