What does a big glass of lemon water consist of besides the obvious?  I'm talking lemons vs. lemon juice and the ratio to water.

What's a good, basic, morning juice recipe using easily available, low cost ingredients? Can a large batch be made & drank throughout the week or is it best to use immediately? Is the hype behind mushroom coffee real? Thanks.

Someone told me of this tar-like substance. A type of  Himalayan salt. Just a dab is full of minerals. You hear of it?

I’m a big fane of keeping things easy.

I’ll start with a morning routine.

The first thing you drink in the morning when you wake up is very important. Your cells in your GI are thirsty. It’s very important that you drink something alkalinising. Lemon water is the easiest choice. Alkaline foods are also great for arthritic conditions. Acidity erodes tissues over time.

Watermelon is a great alkaline food.

There are many ties to the gut / brain relationship including: improving mood & neurotransmitters / synapses, Juicing in the morning on an empty stomach is one of the best things you can do to improve your overall health.

I’ve helped many people (including people with crohn’s disease) manage their symptoms via alkaline juicing in the morning. It’s always the first thing I talk with people about when improving overall health.

So go ahead drink your coffee but first - try a big glass of lemon water or even better start juicing. Heal your gut and it will literally start healing you from the inside out.

For more quite some time, I often start my day with a cup of coffee.  Earlier this year I read something that reminded me that water is the best thing to start off the day with.  I read that and thought, OK,  that intuitively makes sense, so I start with water, then hit the coffee.
And then recently a friend told me about mimosa- not the alcoholic drink, the herb, Mimosa pudica.  She mentioned it helps with anxiety.  Well, I figured, I might have to try that.  Years of smoking pot didn't help, quit that.  Xanax addiction sure as hell didn't help, quit that.  Drinking helps, but I have a low tolerance for alcohol, so that only helps a little and I don't drink a lot.  So I'm trying mimosa.  Day three, no change, but still giving it a shot, three droppers full in water per day.
So I'm interested to hear what your take is on mimosa- how much to take, how often, how effective, how long before it starts helping.  I'm a bit of a skeptic, and after so many years of dealing with anxiety, I'm not expecting miracle cure.  In fact, I balk big-time when ever I hear "miracle cure".  Nothing lasting comes easily.  But am open-minded enough to give something a try.
    Thanks in advance.

I don’t have experience with Mimosa pudica.
from my personal experience ~ herbs
that are cut and sifted are best in a tea /simmered long for (stems & roots) or overnight. Infusion in water or steeped for leaves and
flowers. You would take it everyday multiple times a day. This honestly would require some type of lifestyle change. Brewing tea (hot or cold) requires a daily ritual AM / PM. It’s possible to heal on a deep cellular level.

My personal suggestion would be to take something stronger Ann extra ion if the herbs in capsule form. You can take a medicinal dose by following the directions on the bottle:

    Adrenal
    Health by Gaia Herbs

    https://a.co/d/gZ2gDDe

adaptogen herbs (which this formula has tons of) go into your body and help your body achieve balanced homeostasis. The longer you take it the more you are healing your cells. These are “do no harm” herbs. There is no risk with taking long term or multiple times a day (as the directions suggest) - so I’m told…

Lastly for “in the now” anxiety, what I take is Soumd Sleep. The dosing for sleep is 3 capsules ~ I would take 1. It cuts the noise.

    https://a.co/d/cylhlxf

For anyone still reading this it’s also good to note that sleeping pills will literally cut your life spam incredibly. Get off them now and take sound sleep by Gaia herbs as your alternative. If you are still having a hard time sleeping try an addition of Adrenal health Night time formula. This is something you would want to take long term as your cells heal from the damage of the extra strong  pharmaceuticals.

i know I am touting Gaia Herbs but honestly for a strong extraction that’s been tested for purity and strength - there is no competition.

as far as the mimosa pudica aka shame plant (it’s common name) if it’s local to your area and abundant I would harvest accordingly and steep or summer .

    I hope this helps. 💫

    Thanks for info.
I'll keep pursuing info on mimosa, and will let you know if I gain good results.

Yes. Cool. Thx. Been drinking lemon in water now often.
When you say acidity erodes. I'd think lemon is acidic. So why is it good for you? Just curious and only get all my info from this forum. :/
