202X UK Tour: The Best & The Biggest NON-Arena Venues (plus more;)

edited July 13 in The Porch

Edit: „indoor“ deleted

Edit: (plus more;) added

Edit: UK added to the topic

Edit: topic header shifted to UK.

Europe is part of „more“ now

Tour not announced yet.

Topic header adjustable to any wonder in the future :)

So far thinkable:

The 2024 Ticket Sales Strategy would be possible here. Every ENTRY for a floor ticket is „worth“ the same.

Separate balcony prices or not.

Prices falling from XXX€£

Ticket Sales Crunchtime: wait and see

Handling / Service fee up to 5£ /6€ fix.

No „money for nothing“ add-ons to the ticket price.

TEN-Club special not ticket related.

It’s a „low-tec“ tour on stage.

The best and biggest non-arena venues in Europe are searched.

Standing on balcony & non reserved seats on balcony are welcome.

Any suggestion for a 4000-7000+ destination looks good for „biggest“.

Barrowlands not the biggest but ask anyone who's played there if it's the best

Queue the "I'm gutted. I've been a 10c member for 40+ years and this is the first time I haven't scored tickets in the lottery. It's not fair, the venue is walking distance from my house. PJ are sellouts. I'm canceling my membership"  posts in the new "202x 10c Lottery is a Desaster" thread.

This is better than a lottery:
Every single Standing Ticket remaining / available
must be visible on the ticket provider’s page from the beginning.
    +
After a price drop there is NO return to a higher price.
Everyone can bet on both points.
Without both Must Haves it looks just not right.

    Leeds Academy
capacity: 2300 incl. balcony unreserved seating and standing

The Edinburgh Castle setting looks good
but the seats on that grandstand must have numbers. Disqualified because of the topic’s restrictions sorry;)
Same price for all seats AND no numbers would easily lead to an entry chaos and fighting for seats.
Same price for all seats AND reserved is the 2024 Arena style. Plus standing and seating is not „worth“ the same price.

Rangers72, is the grandstand the whole year there!?
If not: a full open air standing area would be possible;) same as in Margate.
Edit: rather not because of all around the management of this Spezial setting - Margate is „already ready / there“

    edit: ;)

It’s outdoor but The Piece Hall in Halifax is emerging as one of the UK’s top venues.

Royal Albert Hall London and the Glass House in Gateshead would be dream venues for PJ too

Imagine the following in front of your own eyes on screen.

    London, Brixton Academy
    XX.XX.202X
There are 4920 blue dots on screen.
Some of them categorized „balcony unreserved“

There is an eye-watering price per ENTRY: 400£ plus handling fee 4£.

(plus no nonsense on top of that:)
And there is a note on screen:
„The price will drop in direction to the showdate. Buy if you like or stay tuned. See you. PJ“

That 4920/4921 and this one red dot there means: the first ticket sale is already done!

    BTW
    - No early entry. first there = first in.
    - Buyers of „overprized“ tickets have just secured their entry earlier but no further benefit.
