How many more original albums do you want Pearl Jam to make?

This does not count compilations, collections, Lost Dogs 2, etc. Just original, new collections of music. I.e. a collection of b-sides from Avocado through Dark Matter would not be included.

Why would any fan ever not want to hear more new Pearl Jam?  Seems very weird to me.

Maybe if you're also a Tool fan and have been conditioned to believe you don't deserve it?

Yeah I think I agree with you. I guess just worried they will run out of gas.

Misread the question.  Assumed it was how many I thought they would make.

They said they maybe have 1 or 2 more albums  left in them.

That's why I recommend an Unplugged 2 album, since the songs already exist, it should be relatively easier to reinterpret them.  And another reason is that it would be great to get live studio quality acoustic songs from the rest of the catalog (existing Unplugged only includes Ten).

I don't want it to ever end.  I'm not worried about the quantity, I just want to always be thinking, maybe there's another one coming.

Keep making albums and keep touring! I never want to think about some sort of end to all of this.

Yup. I try to not look too far into things. Just enjoy it until I can’t.

No, "they" didn't say this. Eddie said this, and it was clear from the context that he didn't mean literally one or two albums. He meant, "We've got plenty left in us."

This whole thing is silly. They will continue making music as long as they are able. Why fans would want them to make less music is beyond me. People don't want them to make albums because those theoretical albums might not live up to people's expectations?! If that's someone's attitude, then why do anything?

Pearl Jam will and should keep making great music as they have been doing for 33 years going on 34.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

As long as they are putting out good music, I don't care how many more they put out. But, the more the better.

i'd rather see shows with 30 songs with extremely diverse set lists...or do smaller shows for 10c members and play the collectables...

Make ‘em while you can since they all have their health.

Yeah, I agree with keep'em coming.  I'll decide what I like and don't like.  They can't ruin their legacy at this point with a subpar album.  Their catalog speaks for itself and it's impressive as hell.

    Not my decision.

But can see the band continuing until one of the original members seriously loses health, which I hope is a long way off.
