I’m a big fan of the extended intro before Wash starts. I always wished they would have more of the walk on music in the boots.  Sounds great 2 songs in.

If you're referring to the 2023 shows, those have been there since last year when the tour ended. Only new one is Vancouver.
    It's a hopeless situation...

No, that list is just showing potential customers all of the other shows available.

On another note, Upper Hand sounds incredible.

At the tail end of Wash when he really lets his voice rip I got chills at the show. Knew he was gonna destroy all night after hearing that.

Still a stone cold great song and so glad they haven't really played it all that much. Have heard it live 3 or 4x's and it's always chills 😎

I was interested to see in Vancouver that it is Ed who does the guitar part in the intro. It debunked the idea that they haven't played "Waiting for Stevie" because he has tendinitis.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Listening through Van N1, what's obvious to me is that the time signature is slowed down just a bit and Eddie is obviously trying very hard not to strain his voice. Neither of these are bad things, just a reminder we're all getting older.

It'd be nice if they made an option to order CD's for the 2005 tour.

That being said, this Vancouver boot sounds amazing.  Really enjoying it :)

So the mp3 isn’t free anymore?  Membership discount code is now only good for $10 off.
Really hoping this is an unintended error of the price increase. Benefits say free MP3 OR $10.00 off of another format. If it's not a mistake I find it kind of insulting. We used to get a single (physical and digital), a magazine (physical and digital), a code good for a free MP3, and a chance to maybe buy tickets if the band happens to be touring. I understand the physical goods can be expensive to produce and ship, so we lost those. In fairness, they reduced the price by $5.00, bringing the cost from $40.00 to $35.00.

While I was bummed by the loss of the additional items (as I'm sure we all were), it did make sense to me logistically and I was ok with it. However, going in this morning to apply my 2023 code to Vancouver and seeing a remaining $2.99 really pissed me off. Just felt like adding insult to injury and I removed the item from my cart. Come on, it's a download. It doesn't really cost any more to produce.

For the record, I have no problem spending $12.99 (or more) when purchasing a bootleg outside of my yearly code, which I have done in the past. I think getting one free bootleg is a reasonable expectation.

Crossing my fingers that this is unforeseen and that the code will now be good for a free mp3 or 12.99 off of any other format.

  • Purchased Vancouver N1 through 10C. Does anyone know how to download the tracks on an IPhone? It's not giving me the option to download, it just goes to another screen and plays the song.

The older songs sound so much better when played at the original tempo. I also like Porch without that slow intro. Sounded amazing.

I find it interesting that the first show comes out 5 days after the show. But by the end of the leg it’s 19 days between the show and the release.

I'd guess that's mostly to do with Sirius showtimes. They don't want to flood the channel with fresh material, better to drag it out, play the show a couple of times and let people enjoy them.

Processing those shows can be time consuming too, but I'd expect they have that all down to a science by now. Other acts sometimes have their shows released 24-48hrs afterwards.

I have about twelve years of unused download codes because I don't do downloads. Are you telling me that I can use them to get a discount on CDs now? That would be fantastic as I intend to buy the CDs for the ten shows I will be attending and that would save me quite a bit of cash.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
